Motorcycle Musings
"..........Yay! My first Psych story! Oddly enough, it was inspired by Lithium by Evanescence. Please R&R!"
Henry Spencer absolutely HATED motorcycles. They were dangerous, driven by reckless people, were stupid and dumb metal death traps, and- most importantly- would be the most likely death of his son- who just happened to qualify for all of the above.
Shawn was nothing like him. He was immature, irresponsible, and a smart-ass fake psychic detective who had dragged his poor friend Gus down with him. They would both be screwed if they got caught, and Henry knew his son wouldn't last too long in a jail.
But there was one thing they had in common......they were both stubborn. Stubborn as hell. No matter how hard he tried, he just could not get Shawn to put the death trap to the grave, and buy an actual car. He had begged, pleaded, yelled, screamed,, and fought over that thing, but Shawn would never give
it up. So there it sat- in his driveway as his son ate a sandwich in the kitchen.
Shawn saw his dad staring at his motorcycle, and frowned. "Are you going to try to sell it again? I'd just like a heads-up this time if I need to break in to someone else's garage to steal my bike back." he said with his mouth full of tuna.
Henry sighed, and shook his head. "No, I give up. No matter what I say, you're not going to give that thing up. Just know if that thing ends up killing you, I'm going to have to say I told you so to your dead corpse." Shawn nodded.
"That's okay. I'll be dead, so I don't think I'd care much." Shawn said as he chewed.
But Henry knew he was right. That damn motorcycle was something that Shawn would NEVER give up- and it was half his fault, too. He knew every time he said he hated that bike, he was just giving his son more reason to love it. But Henry couldn't really help it. No matter how hard he was on Shawn, he'd always be his father, and he'd always be protective of him. So if that meant hating that damn piece of crap sitting in his driveway, then so be it.
If it was the last thing he did, he would get that motorcycle away from his son. But since he knew the chances of that were slim, he'd settle for hating it every day of his life........
"..............hehe. I hope that didnt suck. And I kinda do like shawns bike. And yeah, im testing the psych waters on this one. Im nervous............Please R&R!"
