She is a loner

Who keeps to herself

For she has very few friends

She enjoyed the crazy adventures

That were written to keep her entertained

But now they are no more

Those stories sit in a box

Getting covered with dust

Her creator sits in the dark

Hidden deep in the shadows

While creepy music plays in the background

If one was to look closely

Closely at her face

They would see the shadows

The shadows in her dead eyes

She keeps to herself

Hidden in the shadows

Slowly torturing herself

Shadows

Shadows are all she has

Her once hazel eyes

Which no longer shine

Shine with the happiness

Happiness that was once there

The creator slowly watches

Watches herself

Watches her life drown

Drown in a sea of tears

The shadows

The shadows

The shadows cover her

The Shadows take over her

Its pure torture

She screams

She cries

She shakes

She wants to hide

She wants to hide herself

Hide her pain

Her misery

But the Shadows

The shadows won't let her

The shadows hold secrets

The secrets to her almost miserable life

If she would just open her eyes

But her eyes remain closed

Frightened by her own-self

Scared that she has failed herself

The shadows have hidden her well

But now it is time to abandon them

Abandon her comfort zone

Her hide-away

Her fantasy

The shadows are no longer

They are no longer hers

The shadows slowly disappear

She scrambles for the darkness

She screams

As the morning sun rises

Its rays shine in

Through the dusty windows

And Her shadows you ask?

Well her shadows disappear
