PPS I, depressingly, do not own Harry Potter. Although, I LOVE Harry Potter!

"Hermione!" yelled Ron. I pretended I didn't hear him. "Hermione!" he screamed again. It's not that I'm angry at him; it's just that since he started dating Lavender, he's been ignoring me. Doesn't he know that I like him? Ever since the first day of school on our first year, I saw him and it was love at first sight. And all he's done all year is suck on Lavender Browns face. "HERMIONE GRANGER! YOU LISTEN TO ME RIGHT NOW!" he screeched. He grabbed my arm and spun me around. "What?" I asked as nicely as I could. It was hard to be nice to the man I love. The thing that came next surprised me.

"I- I'm sorry. I've been so busy with quidditch and Lavender that I've totally ignored you," he confessed. "I feel really bad because you are my best friend, right alongside Harry. I miss you Hermione, and I hope you can forgive me."

By now, the corridor was completely empty. I was speechless. So I simply said "Um, it's alright Ron. Having a girlfriend is fun! I've missed you too."

We sat down on a bench. It was awkward how close we were. We haven't sat this close since- well we've never sat so close!

"So how have you been? We haven't talked for awhile!" he exclaimed. I giggled. Was he always this goofy? "I've been good. I've been hanging out with Neville a lot lately," I said. Wow, I thought. Am I really that boring? I quickly set aside that thought. "How about you?"

"Oh, same old same old," he said plainly. "Lavender- well I don't know about Lavender. I love her but…" his voice trailed off. "But what, Ron?" I asked.

"Hermione, it's you. I like you. Since the first day on the Hogwarts Express when Neville was looking for his toad, I was I love."

I was stunned. And the next thing I knew, I was looking deeply into his deep blue eyes. We slowly got closer. Then, before I knew what was going on, I kissed him. I KISSED RONALD WEASLEY.

Epilogue-

Ron eventually broke up with Lavender. He started dating me during the Battle of Hogwarts. He eventually proposed and we married. We also had two kids: Rose and Hugo. Harry proposed to Ginny at our wedding. It may sound a bit clichéd, but we all lived happily ever after.
