A/N: Okay. SO I'm sorry for writing such a sad story but for some reason I was in a dark mood last night and thought 'to hell with it!' and this is what came out. So I'm sorry in advance if this upsets anyone. Not my ideal ending to J/C but its better than Charlie and Angelo. Anyway, here it is.

Darkwolf.

Bloody Goodbye

The blade slid across her wrist slowly, meeting no resistance. Tears ran down her face as she felt the blood drip down to hit the floor softly. She lay in a bath full of hot water. It was the only way.

Her father, Brett, Robbo… Charlie.

She couldn't take it anymore. She was sick of being the victim. She'd end it now.

She let the blade slide across her wrist again, joining several others that littered both arms. There were a number of faded lines up her forearms but that would stop now. This was the last time.

She'd left Charlie a message, explaining that she couldn't do it anymore, that it was over. She had made it plain that Charlie would never see her again. Alive at least.

"I love you Charlie." she murmured into the empty room.

The hot water kept the wounds open and bleeding. That was her plan. To bleed to death.

A bloody goodbye.

Somewhere she heard a door slam open as she felt the blade slip from her fingers and hit the floor with a gentle clatter.

"JOEY!"

She felt her body being lifted out of the bath. She lazily opened her eyes.

Charlie.

A small smile graced her lips. She knew it was a delusion, but she could only thank her mind for creating it in her final moments. It was too late to be saved.

"Charlie. I love you." she breathed.

She felt her last breath be exhaled. The illusion of Charlie cried softly.

"I love you to, my Joey." it cried.

She smiled.

[If only my Charlie loved me like this. The real Charlie.] she thought.

It was her last before the light that had once filled her eyes dimmed into nothingness, and she knew no more. Finally free from all the pain.

In the room with the quickly cooling body of her love Charlie cried for the young girl she hadn't been able to save.

"Joey." she moaned, her pain an intensity she'd never before experienced.

Without thinking about what she was doing she reached behind her. All she knew was that she couldn't be apart from her love. They may not have been able to make it work in life, but they would be together in death.

She pulled the gun from her belt and raised in to her mouth.

"I love you Joey. Always and forever." she whisper.

Placing the gun to the roof of her mouth she focused her eyes on her loves lifeless russet orbs as she pulled the trigger.

All that remained was a massive pool of blood that extended to cover the walls and the cold bodies of two women, finally at peace in death.

Together.
