Arcadia, the capital city of the nation Astrum; a name that stood for glory, had turned from a prosperous home for its citizens, to a chaotic mess of unjust rules and officials seizing the rights of free will from even the youngest souls. The worst disease known to man had plagued Edmund Augustine, "president" over Astrum. The disease of power had twisted Astrum's once just leader into a tyrant. Drafting children as young as 13 to be apart of his "Grand Purification." His plan: to enslave and rule all who was lesser to him, allying himself with only the most powerful of nations. Citizens whose children had been stolen from them had outraged against him, but Edmund showed impenetrable ignorance towards their pleas, his senses tied to his plan of domination rather than the will of his once loyal people.

Still there were those who listened to him, who obeyed his every command and assisted him in the killing of those weak and defenseless. Those who defied him or refused draft were arrested and tried for treason, forced into labor camps to serve the degree of their acts. Resistance was all a rumor, running around those who saw Edmund as Satan; a demon sent here to cause the nation only misery, not the glory Edmund thought from his diluted mind. Hope seemed just out of Arcadia's reach, out of Astrum's reach. Soon those who had once rebelled against the tyrant government soon succumbed to its poisonous reign.

But many did not, all of them residing in the cardinal districts of Arcadia. Somehow they'd have to get a message out to New Dawn, Cambria, and all the other cities fallen to Edmund's reign. A message needed to be sent, one that would change the face of Astrum forever….
