My dear...
My love for you is everlasting.
Even now when I'm old and grey I love you.
I've loved you my whole life,
I loved you when we were kids and scribbled notes to each other in class.
When we studied late at night.
I loved you on all of those Christmases spent together.
I loved you on graduation, and all throw auror training.
I loved you when I was best man at your wedding,
Just as I loved you on mine.
I always knew that my place was by your side, even then.
I loved you when you kissed me for the first time all those years ago.
I knew it then, just as I know it now.
I would never want to kiss another pair of lips ever again.
I love you even now, when I looking down on your tombstone.
Yours always.
Your loving wife.
The old silver haired woman placed the letter in the sea of dying flowers that surrounded her husband's grave. She fiddled with a red rose as a tear made their way down her wrinkled cheeks. She let them run freely, showing the world her pain, but who were there to see them?
The woman placed a trembling hand over the name that was carved into the white rock. Her broken whispers filled the air "I miss you so much. It's so lonely here without you, I don't know how to move on. Scor, what am I going to do?" She took a deep shaking breath. "Everyone's fine, we all miss you of course. Violet has a new job, again. And Drew has a new girlfriend, she's different, you would have liked her. Just sugar and spice in all the right places. Albus is a grandfather again, a beautiful baby boy, they named him Harry. Lucy and Gary are keeping me so busy all the time now, they're so big, our grandchildren."
She cried silently, whispering "I miss you." over and over again. A platinum blond man kneeled in the grass beside her. "Hi, dad." He said with tears in his eyes as he placed a white rose by his father's grave. He hugged his crying mother as she wiped her eyes. "I'm sorry you saw that Drew."
"It's okay mum, we all miss dad." A lonely tear ran down his face as he said this.
"I still can't believe he's really gone, and it's been a year. Every time I wake up in the morning I turn to see if he's there" Her voice broke. Drew nodded slowly. "Yeah, I know. I just can't picture a world without dad."
A young woman placed another rose on the grave."Hi, dad. I'm sorry it took me so long to visit you." Tear lacked from her eyes. "Violet" The old woman wiped them away and hugged her daughter. She looked around herself, her three children where all there. "Oh, Drew, Ron, Violet."
Her oldest son smiled at her. "Hi, mom" He placed three roses, one yellow, one pink and one white. "Hi, dad... The pink one's for Gary." Violet snickered; a sound so like her father's that they all soaked up. "Ron, your son's a sissy! He's such a poff!" She said with love in the testing words.
They sat, staring at the tombstone for a long time before Rose Malfoy, took Violets hand in hers "Let's go, I'll cook you all lunch." She stood up stiffly, stroked the stone that held her husband's name, and took them all home.
Done, The end...
Did you all like it?
