Dean's secret revealed
"Dean, dad and I are going to the grocery store, are you coming?", asked Sam. "Nope, the two of you go ahead,", said Dean and the moment they left Dean got out his knitting and began to knit a sweater he was making for Sam's 24th birth-day. Even though, Dean had been against doing things that were according to him "girly", knitting actually was very relaxing for him and he actually had fun doing it and now there were quite a lot of guys who knew knitting and enjoyed doing it. But still, Dean had decided to keep knitting a secret from John and Sam since he felt the two would laugh at him and John would feel disgraced at having a son who knew how to knit and enjoyed doing it. This continued to go on until one day when Dean's secret was finally revealed.
"Ha, Ha, you have got to be kidding me", said Sam who was laughing uncontrollably after seeing Dean knitting. Dean's face became beet red and he knew that it wouldn't be long that John too would find out and sure enough John walked in and when he found what Dean was doing, he at first was taken aback and then suddenly he burst into laughter and now both Sam and John were laughing their heads off that Dean finally had enough and before walking away Dean presented Sam with the sweater he had knitted for Sam's 24th birth-day. Sam now felt guilty and so did John since they finally stopped laughing and together they went to Dean's room to apologize to Dean. "Dean, we are sorry we laughed at you like that", said John. "Yeah, dad and I are proud of you Dean that you are interested in knitting and that you knit well and its just that you have never seemed the type of guy who would be interested in such things, said Sam. At this Dean began to smile and said, "yeah, I was embarrassed at first to be interested in knitting but then I realized that I shouldn't be embarrassed since there are many guys now who like to knit and now that you and dad are okay with it I don't have to keep this a secret anymore," said Dean. Before Sam left, he said, "Thanks Dean for the sweater, its fits me really well, said Sam and wore the sweater to show Dean. Dean smiled and then said, " Happy Birthday in advance Sam". "Thanks Dean," said Sam.
After that, Dean would openly knit in front of John and Sam without feeling embarrassed about it.
