He smiled as the woman in white walked slowly towards him. The ceremony began and soon her 'I do.' echoed the room. He scanned the room and his emerald eyes landed on the sixth row. A little girl, around seven years old sat in her older brother's lap. Her hair was that same copper brown shade, her bangs cropped just below her brows framing her beautiful hazel eyes. Her smile, her nose reminded him of her. The Question brought him back to reality. 'Do you?' He looked at the woman and shook his head. She understood. She took a step towards him and hugged him, silently whispering in his ear.

„Go and get her.", her voice was sad but at the same time slightly happy.

„Are you mad?", he asked her.

„No, I'm just sad I don't have someone to love me like you love her." she said with a single tear on her cheek. He hugged her once again and kissed her cheek.

„Don't be sorry for what your doing. I'll be ok." she told him as her ran to the sixth row. He lowered down to the little girl and kissed her forehead. All that was left afterwards was a swirl of dark green leaves. Realising he had nowhere to search for her, he appeared in his home in Japan figuring he could at least change into something more comfortable than a tuxedo. Upon entering his bedroom he found a petite girl laying on his bed. Her cheeks were shining from tears, her eyes were closed and she held on to his plaid shirt. She had cried herself to sleep. Slowly and silently he laid down on the other side of his bed, gently pulling her closer to him. As soon as his hands touched her back she woke up. Her eyes were wide open as she continued to stare at him. She was at the loss of words.

„I...I thought you were... in America...getting married", even her voice gave away the fact that she was crying earlier.

„Why are you here Kasumi?" he asked her.

„Because I lost you. You're married and I can't do a thing about it. I just needed to calm myself down and say goodbye to you before I could move on. This seemed like the best place." she said before sitting up on his bed. She took a deep breath before saying „I love you. That's the main reason I'm here. I fell in love with this boy who was always around. He always protected me from anything that could happen to me. I fell in love with his eyes and the smile he had when I was around. It was just too hard knowing that I was loosing him." with her last word a single tear rolled down her rosy cheek. He kissed her tear and pulled away.

„I didn't get married." her eyes lit up and she smiled at him.

„Why?" she asked.

„Because I fell in love with a princess. A princess whom I was supposed to protect. With her copper brown hair and hazel eyes." her smile grew bigger and bigger every second. „Because I love her." with that his lips tenderly touched hers. She deepened the kiss and he slowly laid her back down on the bed. Breaking the kiss he laid next to her pulling her closer. She rested her head on his chest and hugged his waist. His lips touched her hair as he whispered an 'I love you'.

„I love you, Hayabusa." she said before falling asleep.

„I love you too, princess."

He finally knew what it meant being happy and no one can take that away from him. Because he was Ryu Hayabusa and she was Kasumi and they belonged together.
