'Blond girls are pretty.'
That was the single thought that went through Shino's mind at that moment. His eyes, hidden behind those dark little shades of his, were stuck on the creature of pure beauty known as Temari. Ever since the Sand Siblings came to Konoha, Shino couldn't stop thinking about Temari.
Sure, his teammates and his own parents claimed that he was stalking, but Shino called it 'research'. "I want to learn how the people of the sand feel about the village here so we might be able to increase trade with them." He would say.
Hell, it was the only thing he could think up of at the time. His mind was too preoccupied on Temari. Quietly and quickly, he followed her over into the more populated parts of town, causing Shino to lose track of her.
Shino cursed under his breath and muttered, "Dammit, where did she go?" Suddenly, he felt something strange tingle up his spine. He could feel hot breath pressing against the back of his neck. Slowly, Shino felt something wet gently move along his earlobe. Then, a soft feminine voice whispered, "Who said you could stalk me, bug boy?"
Shino spun around and saw Temari smirking at him. Shino then realized that Temari had actually just LICKED his ear! Trying to keep his cool, Shino glared at the blond-haired girl and replied, "Who said you could lick my ear…girl?"
Temari chuckled a bit and jeered, "Well, who said you could follow my every move, you little pervert!" Shino winced when she said 'pervert'. Temari's smirk widened when she noticed that Shino's face was turning deep red. "What's wrong? You're normally so stoic…it's kind of attractive…" Temari remarked menacingly.
Shino tapped his shades and replied, "Do you really think I'm attractive? I am, of course, but I need to know if YOU think so…" 'He is SO conceited today!' Temari thought nervously as she watched Shino fondle with the kunai in his pocket.
After watching Shino practically take his own jacket apart, Temari sighed and admitted, "Fine, I think you're attractive, okay? Now will you please leave me alone?" Shino did a saluting pose and exclaimed, "AS YOU WISH, MADAM!"
And with that, the bug-loving shinobi was off. Temari smiled and thought, 'He's weird and cute at the same time…' As Shino headed back home, he smirked under his jacket and thought, 'Heh heh…my research is complete…'
