The green haired boy looked out across the beach. The white sand contrasted with the navy blue sky. Tall pine trees towered over the beach on the cliff above him. A light breeze played with his dark bangs. Dressed casually in a white shirt, denim jeans, white sneakers and red fingerless biker gloves. A single tear rolled down cheek.

"Dad I'll be a Pokemon master I promise," he said.

"Your eleven Blaine a guy your age shouldn't have to deal with so much pain," echoed a girl's voice behind him. Her shoulder length purple hair danced in the wind. Her beautiful green eyes sparkled light the morning sun. Her light blue shirt, gray jacket, denim shorts and red sneakers covered her thin form. Her eyes met his blue ones.

"Oh hey there Mandy," said Blaine.

"Blaine how exactly did you father die?" asked Mandy. "You don't have to tell me,"

"He drowned he died saving a Gyrados," said Blaine.

Tears rolled down his cheeks like rivers. His father died only two years ago. The scars of that loss were still on his heart.

"Come here Blaine," said Mandy.

Blaine fell onto her. Mandy held him in a tight embrace.

"It's okay," whispered Mandy repeatedly.

The two continued to hug each other never letting go until the sun rose.
