Summary: "You seriously believe that with every evil thing out there, that there's nothing good out there too?"

Disclaimer: I don't own Supernatural and I'm not making any money of this.

A/N: Just a little drabble I wrote to pass the time at work. Spoilers for "Houses of the Holy"

"Next thing, you'll be telling me you pray everyday."

"I do."

"What?"

"I do pray everyday. I have for a long time." – Dean & Sam "Houses of the Holy"

"I'll tell you who else had faith like that, Mom. She used to tell me when she'd tuck me in that angels were watching over us. In fact, that was the last thing she ever said to me."

"You never told me that."

"What's to tell? She was wrong." - Dean & Sam "Houses of the Holy"

"Dean, there's nothing wrong with having a little faith."

"Maybe not. But that doesn't mean that it's for everyone." Dean paused. "I mean, you have faith and fine, man, that's your thing. It probably makes things easier. But that's not me."

"So, you seriously believe that with every evil thing out there; everything we've heard about, seen, hunted, that there's nothing good out there too? Whether it's God, or angels, or just something inherently good to balance out the evil? You really think that nothing like that exists? That there's only random evil?"

"I don't know, man. I mean, we've seen what kind of evil is out there, there's solid proof. But there's nothing like that, no proof at all that something good exists."

"Maybe that's where having faith comes in. To be able to simply believe without proof or evidence. To just have faith that something good is out there, that there's a reason for everything, and to hope for something better in the end."
