Taichi grappled with a pen and paper as he sat down in front of Yamato Ishida, ready to try another stab at a good interview.
"So, Ishida-san, the rumors stay that your getting ready to marry a young woman named Sora. Will you tell me if the rumors are true?" Taichi asked, his tone as interested as a reporter's could be.
Yamato's reply was a bored "No, and my relationships are none of your business Tai!"
Taichi chuckled for a moment then seemed to recollect himself, "Were trying to have a professional interview Ishida, are do you want to start over for the sixth time?"
A look of pure horror crossed Yamato's face, and his eyes widened. "You wouldn't, we've been at this for over a hour!"
"All because you keep slipping into mistake after mistake! Remember it's Kamiya-san, Ishida-san! At least I was prepared enough to not turn on the tape recorder. But now that we have the ground rules back in place, it's coming back on right... NOW! So, Ishida-san, there have been rumors flying all over Japan that the Teenage Wolves might be changing to a different name, can you clarify these for our viewers?"
Yamato charmingly smiled, then said, "Yes, Kamiya-san, I can clear that up. The Teenage Wolves aren't adolescent's anymore, and half of us have families now. We think that a change of name is in order."
Tachi nodded, then proceeded to write that down. "Are you willing to give us a few hints on what that name change could be?"
"Ah, sorry! That's a secret even to me, for the moment. Were all just trying to figure it out for ourselves."
"But do you think the public will like it?" Taichi asked.
"Of course they will. I mean if they like the music we play, then the name shouldn't be such a big issue."
"... Of course. Ishida-san, what are your real thoughts about the joint concert with your younger brother back in Kyoto?" Taichi asked, wondering if he should have asked that later on.
For a moment or two, Yamato was quiet. The joint concert last month had been a smash success, but before the concert Yamato had virtually no idea that his younger brother could even play the piano well. He'd always just assumed that Takeru was only good at the guitar.
"Umm, well. I was really surprised that Takeru could play and sing that well. He'd kept that a secret from me for the last 16 years."
"But you had heard his performance before the concert, correct?" Taichi asked, the question just from curiosity.
"No I had no clue. He just told me to trust him, and that it would be an okay performance. I mean, he hadn't played the piano in front of me for years, and he never sang with it. So I was blown away when he asked me to let him do a few songs when I was in Kyoto."
"Well, unfortunately, this is all the time we have for today. Next week we'll have an interview face to face with the rising movie actress Mimi, who's first hit movie was "The Wings of Sincerity" directed by Miyako Inoue. Also, I would like to thank Yamato Ishida for his time, and all the effort he put into this interview. His next concert is Monday in Nice, France. This is Taichi Kamiya, for the number seven news channel, owned by Hida Incorporate. Until next time!"
Krylancelo note: I hope that this is a fun fic for everyone, and next up will be Mimi and Taichi! Please review it, or if you have any comments, or request, write them in a review, and I'll be sure to send Taichi out to try and investigate. See you all next time!
