She Doesn't Get it. ~ Stevie's POV
"Okay guys, now that we've finished rehearsing for the Talent Show, I was thinking that we needed something exciting, spicy to get us talked about in the school newspaper so we can beat Molly and the Perfs for Best Band, cause you know we deserve it!" Kacey again shrieked out for the 5th time. "We get it, Kace. But I don't see why we just don't use the school news again, I mean I was a pretty awesome weather man." Nelson said and flipped his hair, making me chuckle. "The school news shut down after the whole "FUNGUS will kill you." From Kacey." Zander stated and Kacey pouted. "It's their fault!" She yelled back and Kevin and Nelson started too. I was tuning my bass, not even gonna try getting involved.
Lunch. Kacey's POV.
I was trying to come up with ideas for us to get attention. Stevie and Zander sat shoulder to shoulder as usual, with Kevin and Nelson in line for pizza. I slammed my hand down on the table, making Stevie and Zander jump. "I don't get why it's so hard to come up with some idea to just come up with something." I said and looked around the room. Nelson was staring at Grace, Molly and Justin flirting, Dana Blair and Dean Hollis, Dahlia and Andy smooching. It suddenly struck me. "Band meeting in 10 minutes! I have the perf idea!" I shouted and grabbed my stuff and ran to the bandroom.
With Stevie and Zander. Zander's POV.
I looked away from Kacey running out of the room. "I wonder what her crazy plan is." Stevie said and I smiled down at her. Honestly, Stevie was my best friend in the band, and I did like her. From her body language, she does too. I grabbed my stuff and put it in my bag and helped Stevie by throwing away her lunch then grabbed some of her books and headed to the bandoom. "Thanks." She muttered and I smiled.
In the band room. Kacey's POV.
I had written everything on a white board and awaited their arrival. Once they all came, they sat on the couch, with Stevie and Zander smushed on the corner. "Okay, now that you're all here, I can reveal my master genius plan!" I shrieked and turned over the white board. Nelson and Kevin's eyes widened and Stevie and Zander looked at one another. Written on the board was "Love." "What do you mean by love?" asked Stevie and I giggled. "You guys know how there is like a Gravity 5 "couple page" on the school website? Well, I went on and they picked Zander as "most popular and hot" in Gravity 5, and since I'm kind of popular, I figured Zander and I could fake date to get attention." I said and they all hopped up. "Say what?" Zander said and I sighed. "It'll just be for 2 weeks, Zan. All we need to do is look like we're dating to get some attention." He groaned. "Why can't Kevin do it?" "Or Stevie." Shrieked Stevie and Kevin at the same time. "Well, I didn't wanna make Stevie do something she probably wouldn't want to. And Zan is just more popular according to a recent poll." I said and they all sat down again. "I know this seems weird, but bare with me here. It's just for 2 weeks, please. If you love me, you'll do this." I pleaded and Zander sighed. "I'm okay with it, I guess." Admitted Nelson. "Yeah yeah, but don't get to flirty, uke boy." Kevin threatened and now came down to Stevie. "Uhh.. I guess it's okay?" She said.
Zander's POV.
I looked at Stevie when she said that. I mouthed to her, "Are you sure you're okay with this." She put on a small smile and nodded. I sighed. "I guess we're dating." I said and Kacey shrieked and hugged all of us. "Thank you guys! I love you." She said and after we said it back, she ran out, probably telling everyone.
