"No, Tawnypelt, Cedarheart, Rowanclaw,what happened here?"
Tawnypelt spoke in a choked voice to Shadowfang "A fox...it beat us all...we wouldn't have got out alive...if it weren't for you" Shadowfang spoke "not thanks to me,Blackstar and Russetfur, but this fox where is it?" Tawnypelt continued "it crossed the Thunderclan border" she held no relief in her voice,she was worried about her brother Brambleclaw.A fire burned within Shadowfang as he walked towards Russetfur "Russetfur,im going to the Thunderclan border,this fox dug its own hole when it attacked my friends" Russetfur looked at him with a serious look and spoke "No,if you go Thunderclan might find it an excuse to blame us again" Shadowfang continued obviously he was serious as well"Look,i don't care,this fox is going to die today,he dies, today i make him crow-food" Shadowfang simply walked of towards the Thunderclan border.
As he neared it he picked up the scent of Shadowclan blood as well as the scent of a fox,Shadowfangs expression changed to one of anger,he was no longer calm as he burst into a full sprint as he ran around the border,trying to find where the scent was strongest,it didn't take long,as soon as Shadowfang spotted the red and white tail of the creature he sprinted even faster as he closed the distance to the fox who had injured all of his fellow warriors,the fox suddenly turned around and was ready for a deadly counter attack,Shadowfang went headfirst,when the fox's jaws snapped at him he dodged it by rolling sideways,his paws met the fox's head as his claws tore through the foxes muzzle,but before he could strike again the fox kicked Shadowfang back to its muzzle and bit down hard on his right paw,Shadowfang yowled in pain,he then jumped backwards to hopefully get away from the creature who had almost annihilated the whole patrol,then he saw something,a member of Starclan?no even older,it was a member of Lionclan,he then spoke "Be strong Shadowfang,there will be many more obstacles ahead,and my strength shall guide you through them" Shadowfang felt renewed with a greater strength twice his own,he then leaped at the fox,with a single hit from his paw he sent the fox flying for two tail-lengths he then jumped at the fox and spoke "You have dug your own hole you mouse-brained fox" he then struck the fox's heart,the fox howled in pain and defeat,and then it went limp.
As Shadowfang was walking back to the Shadowclan camp,a smile grew on his face as he had just avenged all the harm that that fox had ever done
