Sacred Moon

The gods chanted your name as your race through this world of ignorance and dismay

Each chant becoming louder as you got closer

With each step you took came of consequence or reward

The price you took for each hit was astronomical…Only those who sided with you made the pain less

The sky remained emotionless…scarred…unforgiving

Clouds dropped down tears of pain and sorrow

Answer this one question for me…

As I threw out my sword to you…why did you deceive me?

Why had all our memories and days of destruction turn into rays of light that burned my skin with every blow you took to me?

I was a fool to think only the honest ones would stay that way.

I brought you into this desolate land of washed away colors

And you…you had to be the darkest of them all

Your eyes locked onto me and never looking back

Giving out a shout of inspiration to those less fortunate

The key holder stood by your side along with those ignorant fools!

I had enough of playing the benefit of the doubt!

Suddenly the moon grew and echoed out a roar of resurgence and embellishment

My skin melted away to reveal something deeper…

Something only those in hell have seen

Something that only you are afraid of

You took my name and made it into this key!

And yet…I must thank you for showing me into who I really am

That fool who thought he was wiser then me…his name will become no more then the purpose of this battle

No…I warned you…that if you did not leave this empire

You would be sucked in with me creating an alternate dimension

Only to be surrounded by cascading waterfalls

When my time is up your new life will be a thing of the past

That's why I asked you to join me

My reign as the new key holder has almost begun

I can see your hand trembling

Yes…let the terror set in

Make all those sleepless nights melt into a huge nightmare

There's no use…you can't wake up

And now that the fight has begun

You are powerless and a fool for turning you back on me

Soon all will be under my personal touch

No longer will you have a heart for others to reach out

Instead you'll have darkness…

And soon…Nothing
