The Subspace Emissary Vol. 2
Pt. 1
The Great Ocean was just off the shore of Nintendo Beach. The large Subspace portal was destroyed here two years ago. Now on a boat on the ocean is carrying King Mario, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Amy Rose. "Amy, you like the cruise so far?" "Of course, I knew you'd get around to me eventually." Mario sighed as he was reminded again that Sonic had finally reciprocated Amy's feelings for him. This romantic peace was not to last long. "Cannonball!" Mario scowled at the intruder. "Wario, how many times have I told you not to jump onto my boat?" "….NINE THOUSAND!" (insert trombone noise here) Unfortunately, that was the last Wario cannonball that the boat could take, as Amy pointed out. "Uhh, Sonic, the boat is sinking." (brief pause) (everyone in the boat screams)
Everyone was found except for Wario. However the others had discovered something. "Hey Sonic! Look!" Mario looked as well and saw what Sonic and Amy were looking at. "Whoa! A pyramid!" Amy smiled with delight. "Let's explore!"
Inside the pyramid, the water was drained out by Mario, but he also sprung a trap. After that, Amy was the only one left. The others were MIA. At the center of the pyramid there was a strange altar with one gemstone at each corner. "What a strange place. I wonder what this altar is for." Amy made the mistake of lying on the altar. The room shook and a spirit-like creature laughed as it appeared over Amy. "I am the Golden Diva. Thank you for releasing me." "I don't know what's going on. Tell me what's going on." However, the Golden Diva disappeared without a word. "Darkness has fallen on the world. And it's all because of me."
