Flickering and dashing close to her nose.

Fire.

Bad. Dangerous. Burn us to the ground.

But it was so pretty.

Oranges and yellows swirled madly.

At night, fire illuminated the area, shedding light on her.

A spark leaped and scorched a bit of her fur.

"Ouch!"

She couldn't be upset. It was like a naughty kit.

Gnats drew close to the glow.

Smoke began to stream, driving them away.

She didn't notice.

The flying sparks and billowing smoke just mad a prettier picture.

So, her only thought while sparks ran up a tree, flames devoured the night sky, was

beautiful.
