"Riku...," her voice trailed off as she recalled the silver-haired boy from Sora's memories.
"Riku..." She closed her eyes softly as she dove into Sora's memories in search of him.
"Riku..." She could feel his presence. It was always there, but he was hard to find.
Suddenly, the ocean roared in the distance. She ran towards the sound, only to find herself surrounded by water. She took several more steps, but her sandals kept begging her feet to float. She wiggled out of them, letting them rise and rush in the direction they chose.
For her, it was not that easy. It was dark and she could barely see, but she continued anyway. Her hands lifted the hem of her dress as she prepared for deeper waters. The water grew colder the further she went, as did the sense of the presence she hoped to find.
Just then, there was a flash of lightning and the sound of a large wave approaching. The tide went out, water fell to her feet as it all seemed to gather beyond her. A flash of lightning lit the sky again, finally revealing the boy she was so desperate to find.
Her feet rushed forward in the direction she chose.
"Riku!" she yelled, as he turned towards her.
"Riku!" she cried, as he held out his hand.
"Riku!" she screamed, as the wave crashed cruelly between them.
The wave dispersed along with the memory of him. Alone again, she sat down in solitude.
"Riku...," her voice trailed off as she recalled the silver-haired boy from Sora's memories.

Thank you for reading this piece. When I saw the cover art by Jade, I imagined the Organization telling Namine to fabricate Riku Replica's memories. Research time in Sora's memories! It became difficult as Sora was still quite shaken from some memories of Riku. It could also explain the repetition at the end since she has to continue 'researching' until she knows everything she needs to know.
