A/N: Hey guys! This is like my first multi-chapter work and I hope you like it! It takes place after the Alvarez arc and Lucy and Natsu are a couple as well as Juvia and Gray. This is a short chapter, but the next couple will be longer. I don't have that much to say, so let's start!

It was a normal day, if any, at the guild hall.

As soon as Gray entered, he and Natsu broke out into a fight. The two fell into a familiar rhythm of punching, kicking, magic blasts, sidestepping and blocking.

They knew each other so well, the fight would go on for hours. At least it would if Erza wasn't there to stop it.

So, needless to say, both Gray and Natsu had to ice their heads and groan in pain as they took a seat at the table with their friends, an annoyed Erza glaring at them.

"Why's the devil in such a bad mood today?" Natsu asked quietly so Erza wouldn't hear him.

"She didn't eat her morning cake. The bakery ran out." Lucy said, sympathetically. She leaned forward across the table and ruffled his hair.

Gray felt a familiar feeling crawl up his spine as a shrill voice echoed out of nowhere and two surprisingly strong arms grabbed him.

"GRAY-Sama! It's been ages since Juvia saw you! Juvia hopes you didn't miss her too much." Juvia said as she hugged her boyfriend.

Gray sighed. "Juvia, I saw you yesterday!"

"Half a day without Gray-sama feels like ages to Juvia."

"We talked about this remember," Gray said, an exasperated smile tugging at his lips.

Lucy watched the two of them, amused.

"Juvia meant not to break our deal!" Juvia exclaimed horrified.

Gray and Juvia had made a deal. If Gray gave Juvia his complete love, then Juvia would tone down on the stalking and love-rival thing.

After apologizing profusely to Gray, Juvia took a seat by Lucy. After the entire love-rival thing had been settled, Juvia and Lucy had become good friends.

"Now that you two have gotten your daily beating from Erza, why don't the four of us go on a job?", Lucy said.

Natsu thought about it. Happy had gone fishing with Carla and Lily. Wendy had gone to help out Porlyusica...Erza was still dying without her morning cake...

"Yeah, sure."

"What's the job?", Gray asked Lucy.

"Some demon is terrorizing a town. The reward is a month's rent money."

"A demon from the...book?", Gray asked, shooting a glance at Natsu.

Natsu's face darkened at the mention of the book of Zeref. Not only was it impossible for Natsu to believe he had a brother, it was impossible for him to believe that he was E.N.D.

Lucy grabbed a hold of his hand and smiled. Her smile, infectious, forced a grin out of him.

"I don't know. But, we can take it.", Lucy said.

"Juvia shall fight alongside Gray-sama!"

"So we have a devil-slayer, a dragon-slayer, a celestial wizard and a water-mage...I think we'll be fine."

When Natsu wasn't looking, Lucy passed the flyer to Gray. She grinned.

Curious, he looked down. Immediately Gray started laughing. "You're so evil."

At this, Natsu looked up. "Huh? Why is Lucy evil?"

Juvia shrugged and looked at Gray who was smirking.

"Oh yeah. We're going to be just fine.", he put a lot of emphasis on the "we".

"I'm not fine!", Natsu groaned as he lay on top of Lucy, who was gently stroking his hair.

Gray snickered as he rested his head against the window.

"That was mean Gray-sama. You know Natsu doesn't like trains!"

They were currently on a three hour train.

"When have I ever been mean to Ash-for-Brains! Shocking!", Gray said sarcastically. "Besides, it was Lucy who picked the job."

Meanwhile, Lucy was softly cooing at her boyfriend. "Natsu, if you throw up on me, I promise to kill you."

"The real victim is Lucy.", Juvia noted softly.

"Speaking of which, Gray.", she said, her eyes sparkling. "According to the chart we made to see who has to sit next to Natsu, you're up next on the return trip."

"What!", Gray yelled in shock. "L-Lucy, it's three hours! I can't sit next to a vomiting Flame-breath that long!"

"Never again!", Natsu moaned as he stumbled off the train.

He fell head first into the floor, hugging it.

"Lucy, I think Natsu loves the floor more than you.", Juvia said.

Lucy sighed. "Yeah, I know."

"You have very low standards. Anyway, where is this job?", Gray asked.

"Up ahead in that cave."

"Let's go, then!"

And the four started walking up the hill unaware that someone was watching them, taking note of the crest that was placed on each of them.

"Fairy Tail."
