14 days 15 nights……
On this day,
down came the son of heaven and light. It fell right down to earth, where it settled to rest for a period of approximately 5 years. As it came down it looked somewhat like a big ball of energy. As it resumed it saw fellow dragons. But they were different, they had changed. They were full of hate, instead of the longing power of a real shenlong. This was good though, with this he fell unnoticed. He planted himself deep into the planet. Thinking only to himself 'Now I must have a name. I wonder….', after this he drifted to sleep. During this short period he grew from 1 ½ feet long to 42 feet long.
His power grew along with him. While in his sleep he figured out a name which he thought suited him, it would be Zaith. 'We have to keep it simple…for in about five years the whole world shall know it.' he thought to himself.
"Bulma! Trunks! Bra!" Vegeta shouted "Where are you?" Vegeta stomped into the room and sat on the couch. He looked around the empty room and mumbled to himself " I am never going grocery shopping alone AGAIN! Trunks!! Bra!!" He sighed and grabbed the remote. "They were just trying to get rid of me." He turned on the television and watched some soap operas for about 2 hours before he finally fell asleep. He slept for 10 minutes, when his nap was interrupted by Bra coming in the house. " Hello daddy!" she kissed him on the cheek and went to her room. After her came Trunks then Bulma. " Thanks for getting the groceries Vegeta." She told him. "Whatever. You deserted me." He said in return. "Oh Vegeta!"
In Goku's house everything was normal. Goten & Gohan were off at work. Pan & Goku were at school. ( Goku is still chibi and decided to make the most of it.) Only Videl & Chichi were at home. "So Videl how is it at your house?" asked Chichi. " Okay I guess." Just then the ground started to shake violently. "Chichi!!" screamed Videl "Whats happening? Earthquakes
never occur around here!"
"I know! Isn't…" Chichi stopped just as the earthquake ended. "that's strange. It ended so quickly. I wonder what happened?"
Then the telephone rang. And Chichi ran to pick it up.
"Hello" said Chichi into the phone.
[Hello Chichi. Its Bulma. Did you feel that?]
"Yes. It wasn't really that bad."
[Over here it was. Thank god our house is weather proof.]
"That's good to hear."
[Is Goku back yet?]
"No" said Chichi glancing at her watch " Its only 2:45. He gets out of school at 3:30."
[Oh. hehe I forgot.]
" Is everybody alright over there?"
[Yes. But Vegeta keeps on wailing that he felt a tremendous power level during the quake.] A angry voice can be heard in the background.
[ That's why I wanted to ask Goku. He might have felt it. His school is nearby here. Can I have your permission to pick him up early? ]
"Sure! I think he'd like that."
[Okay, bye]
"bye"
The two women hung up the phones.
"So what was that about?" asked Videl
"nothing much"
Bulma got into the car with Vegeta to go pick up Goku. She stepped into the office and signed him out. Vegeta was waiting impatiently in the car.
Goku ran to his locker and got his stuff. "SAVED!"
He got to the office very quickly. " Hello Bulma!"
They went out into the car. "Okay Goku Vegeta has something he wants to share with you." Bulma exclaimed
"Would it have anything to do with that power I felt during the earthquake?"
Goku said.
"Wow Kakkarot how EVER did you guess?"
"I don't know I guess I got a knack for reading minds! J "
"Kakkarot! You idiot!!"
They didn't say anything the rest of the trip.
