High and Mighty

I stare through the window,

Earth stares back at me.

Its landmass, its clouds,

Its sparkling seas.

…

One among many,

A sacrifice made.

To protect us from Buggers,

Make us soldiers and slaves.

…

Earth's without mercy,

The world's without face.

One world among many,

In the vastness of space.

…

I see sky and sea,

I see swathes of land.

Forgotten by Earth,

Left among the damned.
