One day long, long ago, in a kingdom far, far away a beautiful princess with long flowing blonde hair lived in great loneliness. She was the only one of her sisters who was not married to a handsome prince. Her younger sister Jessie had married a prince named James and now lived with him and his Growlithe in his castle. But poor Cassidy was all alone. As a child she often played with a prince named Butch from a nearby kingdom. She had not seen him in many years as he was probably married. Little did the beautiful princess know her childhood sweetheart was living in her large garden. In a pond. You see Butch had been turned into a frog after insulting a wizard named Giovanni. One day the beautiful princess Cassidy was out walking in the garden. Kneeling down by the pond she asked her reflection "Why doesn't anyone love me? I'm pretty and talented! Sure I don't have a mallet to knock some sense into a husband like my Jessie but someone out there must love me!" with that she burst into tears. Butch looked up at her with his beady little frog eyes. The girl looked awfully familiar. Her pretty purple eyes were full of tears. Butch wished he could comfort her. She noticed the frog. Reaching down she petted him. Butch smiled at her the best a frog could. The wizard had told him if his true love kissed him he would be turned back into the human prince he once was. It was *her*. Cassidy! He remembered they used to play as a child. His father had hoped he'd marry her one day. Cassidy wiped away her tears and smiled at the frog still rubbing his head. "Do you want to come back with me to the castle?" she asked him. He nodded and she scooped him up in her hand. Soon they were in her room. Cassidy placed him on her desk. She left the room and Butch sat there thinking of the lovely princess who had rescued him from the slimy pond. Cassidy came back into the room balancing a bowl full of water. Placing it on the desk Butch leaped in delighting at the feel of water on his skin again. Cassidy peered into the bowl and Butch saw her large purple eyes again. She was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. Cassidy's hand was slightly over the rim of the bowl and Butch decided to leap onto it. She shrieked as his wet skin unexpectedly touched hers and Butch hit the ground. As he lay there dazed she picked him up. He groaned slightly. His head *really* hurt. Opening his eyes he saw Cassidy's lips move towards his head. Eyes wide he watched her kiss him. Next thing he was on the floor again. But this time he was the human prince he had been. Cassidy looked down at the wet prince shocked. Butch stood up and looked in her eyes. Cassidy smiled widely. "Butch!" she yelled as she threw her arms around her old friend. Butch grinned as he hugged her back. Pulling out of the embrace he bent down on one knee and took her hand in his. "Cassidy, will you marry me?" he asked her. Then he realised something. His voice! It was…different. Very deep almost…frog like. He smiled. Well it was better than his voice breaking all the time. Cassidy smiled and pulled him into a passionate kiss. Butch smiled. "I'll take that as a yes…" he said. And they all lived happily ever after…
