My Mother: My Loss
Helena's Story
(Helena's Point of View)
It was the night of my 19th birthday. Mother set up a performance just for me. I was exstatic that I could finally
have my own show, where people came to see me. I felt as if I were still a child. My fatherwas always gone, and mother
comforted me from the sadness that struck when he left this world. My mother said I was a
professional Opera singer, even though at times I felt like an ametuer.
I breathed clamly as mother zipped up my lilac colored chiffon dress. I marveled myself in the mirror,
seeing how my reflection somehoe showed my inner beauty, as well as my outside beauty. My mother clasped her
hands, and looked at me like I was a statue made of gold, ten thousand feet high.
"Helena," my mother said as she touched my shoulder softly. "You're positively an angel God has given to us."
"Mother, I'm not that special," I said as I turned to face my mother's seafoam green eyes.
"Yes, Helena. You are. Never forget how much your father and I love you. No matter what."
"Yes, mother." I never forgot those words that came from her mouth. I thought the world was against me,
and here I have my very own fan club.
"Helena," mother said. "They say we're ready to go on."
"Great!" I ran ecstaticly to the door and reminded myself that I was a lady. My mother guided me to the Opera
stage, where thousands upon thousands were looking upon me.
"Go get them," mother said. She sounded so reassuring. If only I knew what was about to happen, I would've
stalled. But, I was so excited I had to get on with the show.
I started singing Quatrier and I felt a pain in my arm. Gasps and squeals were coming from several directions.
I looked up and I saw someone shoot at my mother. My mother collapsed to the floor, blood staining her dress of silk.
"No!" I yelled. My face became freckled with blood and I almost died. I blacked out after that. The next thing I
knew, I was in the hospital.
That is why I'm here, on this journey. I became a fighter in a circuit called the DOA Champions. I started
traveling with them, leaving my singing talent behind. I overheard one talking about my mother's assasination, and
that is when I started to turn against them. Even today, I'm fighting them for the truth. I cannot rest until I find out
who killed my mother. I suppose it could be Ayane, but she seems so confident.

A/N: here it is!!! Please no flames!! I really love Helena's story so I thought I would write about it! I didn't go into
too much detail, I thought it would take away from you thinking about her and her feelings. Well, I just finished
beating the game for the third time, this time with Helena. When I saw the ending, I almost cried. She has to be
one of the best fighter's in the game. She's so pretty and strong, too!!!
