Sailor Moon 2018: The Hunt for Andromeda's Ark
Prologue
The Spacecraft came to a halt as it neared it's destination. There it was. The planet spoken of in legends. A blue planet of silvery icecaps and two great green landmasses. The Planet of the Orbiting Pearl.
Leirashi.
The Automated spacecraft descended to an orbit four hundred miles above sea level. The Leirashikaa were a more advanced people than the other races it found around its twin galaxy. Several Thousand satellites orbited two hundred to five hundred miles above the aquatic planet.
It began to pick up life signs aboard the largest satellite. It appeared to be made of separate modules, each sent into orbit individually. Several symbols covered the craft; a red and white flag with one blue quarter covered in stripes, a red disk, a red-and-white striped 8-pointed cross, a hammer and sickle.
It had taken a long time to reach Leirashi. The Calendar read that it had left in the year 8853. The calendar now read 15646. The Host had not aged one second since its hibernation began.
Then it began to pick up radio signals. "Unidentified craft, this is the International Space Station. Please state your name, nationality and purpose."
The Craft knew little of the Leirashikaa language. It could not understand any of it. What the craft did know, according to its programming, that string of sounds was getting in the way of its one sole purpose.
The Mission.
The Spacecraft began to emit its primary weapon. The crew of what the Leirashikaa called the 'Inder-nashonul-spaze-stashun' was no more.
The spacecraft decreased its orbital velocity until, after repeated cycles around the planet, it began to descend toward the largest settlement. Located near a large inlet of water, and home to over thirty million Leirashikaa, the island on which it was located on was situated on the western side of the largest body of water.
The Craft fell until it began to burn with the friction against the atmosphere. The instruments read: ETA: Fifteen Intervals. It would land in approximately one-half of the time for one planetary revolution.
The Mission had begun.
