No one saw the little things. No one would ever understand.
How Sakura always was there, waiting when they returned from a mission.
How Hinata always brought them tea while they were training.
How Ino would always have a single flower to greet them when they reached their home.
How Sakura would always call Ino 'Ino-pig' no matter what.
How Ino would do the same with 'Forehead girl'.
How Hinata would stop daily at the flower shop just to say hi, even if it was out of her way.
How Ino would visit the Hyuuga manor, even if Hiashi scared her half to death, just to be her alarm clock every morning.
How Sakura would lightly tug on her slowly growing hair as they passed each other in the morning.
How Hinata would return the favor as they passed each other going home.
They say a ninja must see underneath the underneath. All of Konoha failed in that when they failed to read the simple message behind the little things.
They failed to see how Hinata would close her eyes, tilt her head, and smile that special smile only for them.
They failed to see how Sakura's bright eyes shined the brightest when she looked at them.
They failed to see how Ino would soften her loud demeanor around them, and only them.
They failed to see they loved each other.
