Rachel Berry was ecstatic. She had never thought that the day would come when she would be standing at the altar. She had just been escorted down the aisle of the synagogue by both of her fathers. They both were grinning with pride as was Shelby, who was sitting in the front row. Rachel saw everyone's heads turn again as the other bride was escorted in by her father.
Blair Waldorf saw her soon-to-be wife standing at the altar and she grinned instantly. She did not want to blush, so she looked into the crowd of people who were gathered for the wedding. She saw Dan Humphrey sitting next to Brittany and Santana. He was trying to hit on them, and Santana quickly put her arm in front of Brittany's breasts and shook her finger at Dan, who looked defeated. Blair never imagined that she would be getting married, much less to a girl, but Rachel was special.
While Blair was at Columbia, she decided to take a walk around the campus to let off some steam. She and Chuck were on again, but he had just told her that her cardigan was not that good looking, and before she murdered him, she decided to take a walk. She heard a girl singing Barbara Streisand songs out loud on the quad, and she decided to check it out. Most people were yelling insults at the girl, and when Blair looked at her, butterflies flew into her stomach.
The girl was petite and beautiful, with long flowing brown hair, and a voice like an angel. Blair had gone up to her and introduced herself to the girl, who seemed to also have butterflies in their stomach. It was the beginning of fall, and since it was still somewhat hot out, they talked about themselves over slushies. It turned out that Rachel had always dreamed of going to New York to pursue a career on Broadway, and when Blair mentioned that she wanted to go into fashion, Rachel suggested that she design costumes for Broadway. The whole time, they could not stop staring at each other, and when Rachel said that Blair was wearing the most beautiful cardigan, Blair called up Chuck and told him to fuck off because she was going lesbian.
After a year, Rachel had proposed, and they set the wedding date for the fall, on the same exact day that they had met, which was on a Sunday that year. Blair looked happily at Rachel, who was surrounded by both of the maids of honor, Quinn Fabray and Serena van der Woodsen, who had been secretly sleeping together for a few months now, and had also fallen in love. Blair thought that Rachel looked beautiful in her white Vera Wang wedding dress. Rachel wanted Blair to pick out matching outfits for the two of them, and so she chose two Vera Wang wedding dressed, two white pairs of her favorite fall stockings from Germany, and white open-toed heels. They both wore a white lace garter on their legs.
When Blair reached the altar, both girls looked at each other with love in their eyes. They knew they had made the right choice, and even though their honeymoon to Paris would have to be postponed indefinitely due to Rachel starring in a Broadway revival of Funny Girl and Blair designing costumes for the show, they were both very happy. They both said their "I dos", and even though Blair had a great respect for clothes, now that they were married all she could think about was ripping off Rachel's dress tonight.
