Hey ya'll! I'm just practicing writing a bit so I did this SHORT drabble in class today. So just a bit of practice cause I got inspired, but I thought I'd share anyway. Enjoy guys. :)
These characters belong to Fox and Ryan Murphy. I own nothing. Just the writing.
The boy's eyes became hot with tears. He blinked rapidly to hold them back as best as he could. Be strong.
"You don't care about me…" His words cracked. He continued to stare at his feet.
"Kurt…"
The boy looked up into the other boy's warm chocolate eyes. A single tear escaped and rolled down Kurt's cheek.
Blaine raised a single hand to his face and wiped the stray tear away with his thumb.
"How could you say that?"
"I don't know… Just the way you've been acting lately. It's different… and I just feel like… I don't know, you've never done this. I…" He started shaking his head as his words slurred and got softer. He looked away from him.
"Kurt."
"What?" Another tear.
"Look at me."
Baby blue eyes met comforting brown ones.
"Kurt… Of course I care about you. You mean the whole world to me."
Kurt was taken aback by this statement.
"I… I do…?" He sniffled.
"Kurt…" Blaine scooted closer. "Of course… I've never cared about anyone as much as I care about you. Don't ever say that I don't care about you. You'll always be wrong."
Blaine wiped another tear away and took Kurt's hands. Kurt sniffled again. He looked down at their intertwined fingers and smiled. He looked up at Blaine.
Blaine smiled back at him. "Hey… It's ok… Guess what?"
"What?"
"I love you."
Kurt's heart fluttered, his stomach curled. A final tear rolled down his cheek. He rested his head on Blaine's shoulder and closed his eyes.
"I love you too."
