I was standing in the Degrassi parking lot. I was alone outside. Everyone else was inside eating lunch. I just stood there. It was cold, but the breeze felt good on my face. And that's when I saw it. I saw Bianca grab Eli and kiss him. I felt tears come to my eyes. Eli immediately pushed her away. I saw Eli look at me through the window. Once our eyes met, I ran. I ran as fast as I could. I stopped behind the school on. I sat in the corner of the yard next to a tree. I fell asleep.
When I awoke, it was night. I opened my eyes, and saw many people around me sleeping, including Eli. I remembered it was the "Big Degrassi Sleepover" that day. My head somehow ended up on his shoulder. I was in a bit of a daze. I looked around tiredly, and then placed my head back on Eli's shoulder. I felt his hand being placed on top of mine. I felt safe, and protected. He looked in my eyes, and I looked in his. As I moved in closer, he turned his head slowly away from me. There was that feeling again; hurt and pain. I stood up with a single tear slipping from my eye.
Before I could run again, Eli pulled me towards him and kissed me. We kissed as rain started to pour down. It was perfect. He looked deeply into my eyes, and then took my hand ever so gently. We walked home together in silence; our smiles were the only conversation needed.
