A/N: ok so I decided to rename the series from "Random stuff I write in my notes" to "time of our lives" also idk if you noticed reading my "Stories" you might have realized that they all have a lesson to them. That because I'm still learning about life and we should never stop learning and expanding our mind also call me a nerd but I like to read stories that are either Adorable as heck or have good deep memorable meanings and characters so I added that to my stories. Think: Anthony Trollope, Jane Austin and Leo Tolstoy (if you don't know who those are imma gona cri) this takes place a year before Ducktales, anyway here we go...
Huey was just finishing his last touches on his science project, he worked all month on it and living on a houseboat and all it's really hard with the swaying back and forth and back and forth and-
"Huey!"Dewey yelled swinging the door open.
Also him,it's hard to get anything done with Dewey around. He always wants to play around and touch everything, why oh why can't he just leave him alone?!
"Dewey can't you see I'm busy?"He asked.
"Yeah but you gotta see this new move I've been working on check it out!"Dewey did this weird Michael Jackson walk then stood on his head and spun around almost knocking over Huey's project "AHH DEWEY BE CAREFUL!"He yelled.
Luckily everything was fine "oops sorry"
"Do you ever think before you do something?!"Huey yelled.
Dewey rubbed his arm awkwardly "Huey I-I didn't mean to, I promise I'll be more careful"
Huey sighed "it's fine, And I'm sorry I yelled, I just worked really hard on this and I really hope I get a good grade on it, plus I get my solar badge see?"Huey shows Dewey. Dewey raised an eyebrow.
"I'm recreating the solar system and writing an essay on each planet"He says.
Dewey looked at it "cool"He said and grabbed the one planet not attached "What about this little guy?"Dewey asked.
"That's Pluto, it's not a planet"
"Then what is he?"Dewey asked.
"iT! Is a moon"huey explained.
"Awe that's sad, he's left out"Dewey frowns.
"No He-I mean no IT doesn't, planets don't have feelings"
"Aha! You said planet!"
"Dewey, I have to finish this go away!"
"Why is the sun here, it's just a star"Dewey asked.
"Because it's still part of a solar system"Huey explained.
"So is Pluto"
"Dewey go play with Louie and let me work!"He said.
Dewey sighed "Ok, maybe we could do something later?"
"Maybe"Huey said.
That gave Dewey a little hope, he left the room happily to find Louie.
"Hey Louie"Dewey said.
Louie was happily watching tv "what's up?"Louie asked.
"Huey's still working on that science project"Dewey said.
"Ugh what did you expect?"Louie asked.
"Nothing, I can't wait till that stupid fair is over"He said.
"Yeah but in the meantime we can chill and watch daytime tv"Louie said happily changing he channel, Dewey sighed.
The day of the science fair huey was a nervous wreck
"Relax Huey, you're the smartest one here, of course you'll win"Louie reassured.
"Thanks Louie...but I can't take any chances, I have to review all my notes one last time"He said.
"Ugh, I've heard your notes so many times, I could say them"Louie groaned.
"Please Louie, if I mess this up you'll actually tell me and I need someone honest and trustworthy"Huey said.
Louie half smiled "Ok fine"
"And I'm going to have to settle for you"Huey said, Louie didn't know if that was a joke or not, either way he just rolled his eyes.
"Woah! Just look at all this amazing stuff!"Dewey said.
"Don't. Touch. Anything"Huey warned.
"Geez Huey, you act as if I were a bowl in a China shop"
"That's bull in a china shop"Huey said "And yes you're are just as reckless"
Dewey scoffed "Well"He said, Dewey started to look around and didn't really watch where he was going. He didn't realize that Huey's foam Pluto had rolled off the table and on to the floor, Dewey slipped on it, knocking the table over and breaking Huey's solar system. Everyone just had there mouthed open, Louie helped Dewey up and huey tried to fix his project fast.
"Dewey are you ok?"Louie asked.
Dewey nodded and turned to Huey "Huey I am so so-"
"Save it!"Huey yelled "You mess everything up, You couldn't stop just once?"He asked.
"It was an accident!"Dewey yelled defensively.
"Yeah? Well so were you!"Huey yelled.
"Now wait a minute!"Louie yelled trying to stop them though it did no good.
The judges came to their table, shook their heads and moved on "I'll never forgive you for this Dewey! Never!"Huey ran away to find Donald and ask to just go home.
"Dewey?"Louie asked "You ok?"
"Yeah.."Dewey grabbed the foam Pluto that was now torn in half "But he's not"
Louie didn't understand but he couldn't imagine huey saying that to him, so even though he doesn't do this often (especially in public) he hugged Dewey, it looked like he needed one.
Back at home things were awkward, Donald told Dewey there wasn't much he could do or could've done, and even if it was an accident, he should at very least try to fix the solar system. Dewey worked on it all night and the next morning he decided to show huey.
"Ta da!"He yelled bursting into the room "I've fixed it see?"He said.
Honestly, Dewey is so adorable but Huey didn't care "It's too late Dewey, you can't just fix it, I've already lost"
"Um yeah I know, and I'm really really really very sorry, and hey look-" He held Pluto up proudly, it apparently broke and had tape around it "I even fixed Pluto"
"Don't you get it?"Huey yelled "None of this matters anymore and all you care about is a stupid whatever this is!"He grabbed Pluto and threw it, it ricochet and hit Dewey in the back of the head, it didn't hurt but it startled him just enough for him to drop the solar system again.
Huey groaned and climbed back into bed.
"Well you see? This time you broke it so we're even? Huey?"
"Go away Dewey!"
He sighed and walked back into the living area "Hey lou"
"Well? Did it work?"Louie asked.
"Nope, he still hates me"Dewey said.
"Welp you should've been more careful"Louie said.
"I know, and I tried, I can't contain myself, please Louie, I just need a brother on my side"He said.
"Well lucky you, you got a spare"Louie said, Dewey smiled.
"Great so you'll help me make it up to him?"Dewey asked.
"I guess"Louie said.
"Ok so we need to think of something that will help huey realize how sorry I really am"Dewey said.
"I've heard when you hang upside down, your blood will flow to your brain and help you think"Louie said.
"Hmm...yeah ok"Dewey then flipped over himself on the couch so he was upside down.
Louie smiled, thinking to himself "Dewey's so gullible"
There was a knock at the door, Donald opened it and of course it was Carly
"Hey Mr D!"She said happily.
Donald sighed "Hey Carly, what happened this time?"
"My parents didn't want me to see them fight so they said you'd be happy to watch me till then"she said.
"Again? Seriously, what will your parents do when we move?"
"Don't be silly Mr D, Dewey said you only move when you get promoted, there's no risk of that happening anytime soon"She said.
Donald rolled his eyes, stupid Carly was a girl who lives really close to here, her father is a captain and Donald usually lets them take a beak and he'll watch Carly for a few hours and they never bother asking anymore they just send her over, at least huey, Dewey, Louie and her are friends. "The boys are in the living room"Donald sighed walking back into the kitchen.
"Thank you!" She walked in to the living room and saw Louie and Dewey "Hey guys!"
"Hey Carly"They both said.
"Watcha doin?"She asked a little confused why Dewey was upside down.
"I'm trying to get my blood to flow to my head so I can think of a way to show huey I'm sorry"
"What did you do?"She asked.
"Wrecked his science project"Louie said.
"Yikes"She said.
"Yup, so I'm trying to think of something I can do to make it up to him"Dewey said.
"Maybe I can help, let's see what does Huey like?"She asked.
"Calendars"Dewey said
"Trains?"Louie asked.
"He likes his hat"Dewey said.
"Um his guidebook"Carly said.
"That's it!"Dewey said "Carly you're a genius, I could get huey a new book he can enjoy to prove it!"
"Do you even have any money?"Louie asked.
"I have four dollars"He said.
"What kind of book can you buy for four dollars?"Carly asked.
"A used one! Come on let's go! Uncle Donald we're going to the book store with Carly!"He said.
"Ok, be back in an hour"Donald said.
Carly, Louie and Dewey searched the bookstore until they found one about roman history and knew huey would love it, Dewey decided this and a heartfelt apology would definitely help.
"So dew blue, what are you going to say to Huey?"Carly asked.
"Well I'm going to try and apologize one last time, if it doesn't work...well"he sighed.
"If it doesn't work, you did your best"She said "you're brothers, I'm sure you'll work this out"She smiled.
"Thanks Carl"Dewey said.
"Anytime"She said.
After Carly left Dewey walked into their room and silently said "Huey?"
"What?"Huey asked writing notes in his JWG.
"I got you this!"He said, Louie was standing next to him smiling.
"You're bribing me so I'll forgive you?"Huey asked.
"No, I'm trying to make it up to you"Dewey said.
"Well you can't"He said. Dewey had enough, he yelled "That's it! I did everything I could possibly do, we're brothers, brothers are supposed to forgive, and if you can't forgive me for a minor incident then I guess you're just not my brother!"He stomped off slamming the door behind him.
"Seriously Huey? Is this what you wanted?"Louie asked.
"It meant so much to me, I worked so hard and he messed it up!"
"Yeah? Well Dewey was working hard trying to make it up to you!"Louie yelled "and you spat in his face, you're no better then him! The only difference is he did it accidentally and you did it deliberately!"He said.
Huey didn't think of it that way, he didn't say anything just crossed his arms, "Come on huey, we're brothers, just apologize, Dewey is very compassionate"Louie said, trying so hard to persuade them so he didn't have to be the helpful one anymore.
"Why do you think Dewey cares about Pluto?"Huey asked.
"I don't know"he said.
"What do you think about it?"
"What do I think about Pluto? It's a foam ball!"He said "And just like the foam ball that is temporary and broken, so is Dewey"He said, "so please, talk to him so I don't have to listen to this stupid conversation anymore"He said as if it was meaningful.
Huey just realized what Pluto was, what it meant "Louie...you're right"Huey said.
"Hey twice in one day, good job Louie"Louie said to himself happily.
"Dewey is Pluto"huey said.
"Say what?"Louie asked.
"Um I'll explain later, I have to find Dewey and apologize"He ran out the door, Louie rolled his eyes "About time".
Huey knew he messed up, he had already fixed the solar system and he was ready to fix his brother bond as well, he walked outside to the docks where Dewey was "Dewey?"Huey said.
"Too late"Dewey said.
"Wait. Please"Huey said "You were right"He said placing the solar system on the dock next to Dewey, he looked up and huey had Pluto in his hand, "Pluto is a mystery, is he a moon or a very small planet? I realized it really doesn't matter, you're right, it's still part of the solar system and it has a purpose. Just like how you can't remove Pluto from the solar system, I can't remove you from my family. I need you dewey and i forgive you even if it's really me who needs to ask for forgiveness"He said, he handed Pluto to Dewey, Dewey smiled and put Pluto back in the solar system, he hugged Huey, and huey put Pluto where he actually was supposed to be.
We get a cast of characters in our life, wether it's a sibling or your parents or cousins or friends, they're just as important to this life as anyone else, even if we don't understand it yet they're important and we need to Remember we're not the center of the world. We're just specks that need other specks to survive.
A/N: sorry if this story was poorly written, bad in general or whatever, idk if its any good. Actually this sounded a lot better in my head, maybe I should delete it? Idk Also did you like Carly? Yeah I know she's like this random person that showed up and left but she'll be important later!
