I am orange today…
loud and messy like finger paint on the wall...
Was she serious? Finger painting? And on the wall? Stupid.
"Sakura?" Sasuke called.
"Yeeeeesss." Sakura replied, making every letter sound like a syllable.
"What. Are. You. Doing?"
"What does it look like I'm doing?" she pointed to the now orange wall. "I'm finger painting."
"Finger painting. On the wall…" it sounded even stupider coming out of an Uchiha's mouth.
"Correct!" she flashed him a smile.
"Why?"
"Because I want to, that's why," Sakura answered, too busy to turn around and look at him.
And so Sasuke watched as the seventeen year old ruin…er beautify her wall with shiny new paint.
She soon erupted in giggles, "Well, what do you think? Isn't it pretty?"
"…It looks like something the dobe would paint."
"Well," she examined her masterpiece, "I guess I did put in a lot of orange, but I just felt it."
"You just felt it?" he couldn't help but give a hint of a smile.
"I just felt it," she smiled proudly as they both admired her 'masterpiece'.
And that was good enough reason.
"Hey, Sasuke-kun!" Sakura called from the sink where she was now removing any traces of orange from her hands, "Let's do your wall!"
"Why?"
"Because I feel like it."
And that wasn't.
