Summary: Pegs and Seto go to the park.
A/N: Sadly, this once happened to me. Only I wasn't with a bishie; I was just with my sister and a few friends. I was the Pegasus of the story, insisting that one duck was trying to murder the other. 400 words.
"I'm so glad we decided to come to the park on your day off," said Pegasus with a grin.
"We decided?" asked Seto dryly. "I don't remember agreeing to anything. All I remember is you telling me that we were going to spend the day at the park." Pegasus' grin only widened.
"And aren't you glad I decided to bring us here?" Seto sighed and rolled his eyes.
"Oh, look, Seto-kun!" He pointed at an object in the distance that Seto had to squint to see. "It's a lake! Let's go."
"It isn't a lake," said Seto as they approached it. "It's a pond."
"What's the difference?"
"A pond is generally smaller than a lake." Pegasus ignored him.
"Look! Ducks!" He took Seto by the hand and dragged him towards the edge of the pond. Seto had to wonder why in the world Pegasus got so excited over such trivial things. Really, ducks? Who cared about ducks? "They're so beautiful," Pegasus said dreamily.
"Beautiful?"
"Yes, don't you see it? They're green and brown and white, and even though they seem so small, when they open up their wings, they become these enormous birds." Seto tried. He honestly did try to see the beauty in these birds, but all he saw was their rough bills and beady little eyes. He humphed. Looking over at Pegasus skeptically, he saw that his eye was practically glittering with happiness. Suddenly, the glitter died away and his face was filled with horror. "Oh my god!"
"What is it?" asked Seto, worried.
"One of those ducks is trying to kill another one!" He turned again towards the ducks to see that indeed, it looked as though one duck was trying to drown another. Using its beak, it pushed down the other duck's head into the water. The two men watched as the duck's head went into the water, and struggling, back out. Back in, and back out. In and out. In and-
"Uh, Pegasus?"
"Seto! We've got to save that duck!"
"Pegasus?"
"What, Seto?"
"I don't think it's trying to kill the other duck."
"What are you talking about, Seto? Just look at them. It's clearly-"
"No, Pegasus. You look. The other duck isn't exactly protesting."
"You aren't making any sense!"
"Well, let me put it this way, you remember last night when we-"
"OH!" said Pegasus, covering his mouth with his hand. "OH!"
"Yup."
"They should get a room," said Pegasus decisively. "No one wants to see that."
