She burst through his door without knocking, shut quickly behind her without any care for the hinges and braced herself against it, preventing his escape.

"Jack... I need it..."

The wild look in her eyes left no doubt as to what she was referring to. It had been sixteen days stuck in the mountain since the lockdown. Sixteen days since they had had it. He thought she would easily be able to go without.

Apparently not.

"I can't help you Carter." He lied. He hoped she didn't hear the mutual pain in his voice.

She pushed off the door and prowled his desk.

"Yes you can. I'm desperate here Jack." Her hands found the arms of his chair, spinning him round to face her and trapping him in. "I'm going crazy..."

He knew what she meant. She wasn't the only one suffering these cravings.

"We can't...we have to wait until we get home. The rules are there for a reason..."

"No! I know, that you know, how to help me... don't make me beg." She was serious. He saw the little twitch under her right eye.

His own body twitched at the very thought.

"Alright. Come with me." He pushed her out the way, snagging her by the belt and dragging her to the door.

They calmly walked down the hallway. At a professional distance of course. Nothing going on here. Two officers, nothing else.

She followed him to the store room. They looked around. No one had followed them. He dug out the keys.

"You're a bad influence on me lady..." he muttered.

"I know." She grinned evilly. This was very naughty of them. everyone else was suffering a similar problem.

"You know the drill. Wait a couple of minutes." He slipped through the door.

She waited outside. One, two, four, eleven, twenty eight... has it been a minute yet? She should be ashamed at herself. Eh, don't care. Too desperate to care.

"Carter..." she grinned at the low sultry sound of her name.

Within minutes she was purring like a kitten. Jack personally shared her content.

Carter was so much happier when she had her coffee.

Shame on you if you thought they were talking dirty. :D caffeine makes me happy. I know what it's like to not have my daily bout of caffeine.
