1Prologue
"No matter what hell we may go through in life, at least we'll have the memories of the ones who truly love us."
The wind was blowing across the docks where a boat was getting ready to sail off. Off on the pier stood a young girl no older than five holding the hand of a well-built man who appeared to be about twenty years old . The wind blew through the long auburn hair of the young girl and the short, messy black hair of the man. As the ship started to sail off a man with long blond hair pulled back into a ponytail appeared on the back of the ship. The girl waved to this figure while crying silently.
"Daddy! Promise me you'll come back and get me someday!" The girl shouted.
"I will Zezilia! Make sure your Uncle Roy takes good care of you!" The man on the boat called back to his daughter as the ship sailed off farther away from the land.
The man called Roy and the girl called Zezilia both waved to the shrinking figure of the ship. Roy turned to the girl and bent down to pick her up.
"Come on Zezilia. Let's go home now ok? It's almost dinner time and you asked for soup right?" Roy said as he walked away with the tiny Zezilia in his arms.
"Uh huh. Uncle Roy? After dinner will you read to me?" Zezilia asked looking up at her uncle sleepily.
"Sure Zezilia. Whatever you want." He said back to his now sleeping niece.
Roy sighed as he continued his walk back home while carrying the light form of Zezilia in his arms. When he reached the end of the docks he turned to the sea once again.
"Hoenheim, I hope you know what you're doing. You better keep your promise. She is your only daughter after all." Roy said as he turned back around and went to his house.
