"I Love you Mai." Naru whispered into my ear,one day after serving him his daily dose of tea.
Oh boy oh boy oh boy! He confessed! He confessed! He confessed! To me! To little old plain Jane me!
Ever since that day at work,when he pulled me aside and confessed to me,we'd been going steady for about a month. I still haven't told anyone,and to be honest,I'm a bit scared to.
I think that even now,as I'm heading to our date,they'd never believe it...
Now if you think us going out means he stops being Naru,boy you we're sadly mistaken. Naru is Naru to the core,he still berates me for being late,insults my intelligence,and is a full on jerk. But I think Naru does all of these things with a hint of playfulness.
When I arrived at our date,A fancy highend eatery of english foods,Naru was waiting outside..And boy did he look good enough eat too! He was wearing a black suit and a white button up,with a matching black tie and did looked slightly annoyed, but whatever.
"Mai you're.." I placed a finger on his lips.
"Don't say it..."I shh'ed him. He smiled and led me inside.
When we sat down I looked around and was taken aback by how fancy-shmancy everything was.
"Are you enjoying yourself Mai?" Naru Asked me. I nodded Breathlessly.
"Good...So when do you think we should we tell the others.?"He took a sip of his wine,which was dom peri-something or another.
"They'd never believe it..." I said. I couldn't even believe it. " If they could see me now,Those little friends of mine. I'm eating fancy food and drinking fancy wine!"
"I'm a Lucky man to have you,hands in hand.." He smiled.
"I'd like those stumble bums to see for a fact,the kind of first rate,top drawer, boys I attract!"
"All I can say "Lovely. Look at where I am. I've Landed Right into a pot of a jam." Naru said taking my hand in his.
" What a set up this is now.."
He leaned over and kissed m i ,eturned it. When we pulled apart,we were blushing like fools.
"They'dNeverBelieveIt!"I gasped. He nodded,smirking a bit.
"If our friends could see us now..."
