It had been a wonderful evening. Haruhi had finally agreed to let Tamaki take her out to dinner. She had noticed on the ride home that something was off. He had gone suddenly quiet. That alone is proof enough something was off. When they had finally arrived at her apartment complexP, Haruhi noted that her father and left the porch light on for her.

'Must've figured I'd be out late.'

Her father was already at work so at least she didn't need to worry about him interrupting them.

Tamaki had insisted on walking her to her door, saying that "no gentleman just drops the lady off".

Haruhi stumbled in her purse for her tea, when she found it, she looked up to Tamaki and said, "Well, I guess this is goodnight."

Tamaki rubbed the back of his neck. "I-I guess so. Well, good night Haruhi."

He gave her a quick hug and then sped away to his limo.

As he got into the back seat all he could think was, "I am such a coward."

I dropped you off

Just a little after midnight

Set in my car

Til you turn off your porch light

I should've kissed you

I should've pushed you against the wall

I should've kissed you

Just like I wasn't scared at all

Haruhi turn off the light as she entered her apartment. She felt a little… Disappointed? She looked out the window as she went to close the curtain to see if the limo had left yet.

You couldn't see me

Watching through the window

Wondering what went wrong

Praying that you would go

She wished he had kissed her. She found that as the night progressed she kept hoping he would make a move. What went wrong? They were having such a good time at dinner, or so she thought. They had enjoyed themselves, telling jokes and making conversation until The candle on their table was nothing but a wick. But he had gone quiet on the way home. Had she done something? Had she offended him in someway? Or head he just decided they were better being "just friends"?

You should've kissed

You should've pushed me up against the wall

You should've kissed me

I was right on the edge and ready to fall

"Where to sir?" The driver asked as the porch light went out.

Tamaki decided.

"Wait here, I forgot something. "

"Yes sir. "

Tamaki opened the limo door and ran as fast as he could back to the complex. He took the stairs two at a time.

I turned off the car

Ran through the yard

Back to your front door

Before I could knock

You turn the lock

Met me on the front porch

Breathless, Tamaki reached up to knock on Haruhi's apartment door when it suddenly opened.

"Senpai?"

Tamaki poured. He had begged her to stop calling him that!

Ran through the yard

Back to your front door

Half scared to death

Can't catch my breath

Aren't these the moments we live for?

" I forgot something, " he painted.

Tamaki gently used her chin and so did her head up, down. A breath away from her face, he stopped.

"I told you to call me Tamaki."

"Wha-?"

The question was from her lips as he gave her an earth-shattering kiss
