A/N: hey everyone! I know I'm supposed to be writing another story but I just wanted to put this one-shot up about the newborn fight in Eclipse. If you guys like it I'll be sure to make it more than a one-shot! PLEASE REVIEW!

APOV

I smiled in anticipation as I heard the newborn vampires running towards us. Jasper was tense at my side, holding my hand. I knew he would try to intervene with my fight. He's just that protective.

"Jazz, calm down. I can fight my own battles."

He just looked at me and I saw the fear in his eyes. The fear for my life. The fear for our family's lives.

The newborns were getting closer and closer and I could practically feel Emmett's joy over the fight. He was excited to actually fight.

I just stood there, trying to see around the wolves. But it was just blurry. Like trying to see into a dirty mirror. I got bits and pieces but not the whole vision and annoyed the hell out of me.

I growled in annoyance and redirected my irritation to the fight.

The newborns were in sight now and we started running toward them. I took on the biggest one I could find.

He smiled at my small stature and lunged at me. I quickly dodged out of the way and flipped around his head and sat on the top of his shoulders.

I gave his head a strong tug and it fell off with little to no effort. I smiled and threw him into a near-by fire.

That's when four newborns surrounded me and I quickly dodged all of their attacks, flipping and jumping and cart wheeling around them.

It was starting to get real repetitive and I attacked one of them, her head flying off into the nearest fire.

The last three tag-teamed me, grabbing my arms and my neck.

I was about to maneuver my way out of their grasp when I heard a roar of rage and all three of their grips loosened.

He dismembered them in all of ten seconds and came towards me checking me for any injuries.

I pushed him away.

"Dammit Jasper! I was about to handle it."

"Well it looked more like you were about to be-"

He was cut off by a newborn that rammed into me, both of us colliding into a tree.

She was thrown off of me by jasper and quickly dismembered her.

I growled in annoyance.

"Stop it!"

I yelled and took off, looking for another opponent. I saw a flash In my mind and I moved an inch to the left, letting the newborn blur right past me. It swung it's leg out at me, but I quickly kneeled down, sliding on my knees under their legs.

I grabbed that leg and ripped it off. It screamed in pain. He grabbed me by my waist.

Are you freaking kidding me? He was trying to cope a feel right in the middle of the battle?

I softened my expression, playing along with him.

I grabbed his hands, slowly moving them up my body.

I stopped them at my neck and ripped them off.

I didn't even bother killing him I just threw his ass in the fire.

Then I saw a little girl, around the age of sixteen. She was hiding out in the trees and I saw Carlisle going after her.

I saw her run, her long black hair billowing out behind her.

Carlisle jumped on her back and was about to rip off her head before me and her both screamed,

"STOP!"
