FASH: I'm not the only one who sees this pairing, right? Not that it matters, if I can be a delusional shonen-ai fangirl I can be a delusional het fangirl too.
Disclaimer: This would be canon if I owned it.
Mamori had always strongly believed that, unless you're dealing with magnets, opposites did not attract. Sadly it seemed that the majority of the student population disagreed with her because rumors about her and Hiruma had been flying around like crazy lately.
She had the sneaking suspicion that Suzuna had started them.
On the bright side the rumors kept the amorous part of the male population away, but it really was beginning to get annoying.
'I suppose I'll just have to live with it until the rumors die down. It's not like I can just announce to the whole school who I really like.' She flushed a bit at the thought and glanced at the clock nervously. School was almost over for the day and then she'd head over to the clubhouse, mentally preparing herself for the next practice, the multiple gun shots that would come with it and praying that she'd be able to keep her composure.
He wasn't really popular, the boy she liked, but he always tried his hardest which was something she had always respected about him.
They both excelled at practically every class, except one.
For her it was art.
For him it was gym.
But even if they both had that one class that they never seemed to be able to improve in, they didn't stop trying to get better.
It was something that she had at first just respected about him, before it grew into a crush, the way he didn't give up even though he still hadn't been used in a game. Even sitting beside her on the bench was a learning experience as far as Yukimitsu was concerned and his positive attitude and mannerisms were always refreshing.
Some day soon Yukimitsu was going to leave her on the sidelines and enter the field for the first time and when that happened she would be the one cheering for him the loudest.
