"You know," Azula said casually with a sly smile. "I was always intrigued by you. Toph Bei Fong, 'the best earthbender in the world.'"
Toph had her head lowered as she felt the vibrations Azula's body gave off. At first It felt like the princess was lying. But then she remembered that Azula's lies are undetectable.
Her feet were unsure and felt like clay where it was uncertain on what's going on. If the princess wasn't lying, why was her heart beating slightly faster? The whole situation boggled the young earthbender. It was mysterious, yet she couldn't help to want to explore it more.

Author note: Written for 100 word challenge so sorry fic being short. I probably add more Azula/Toph drabbles eventually to this.
