Muhahaha. Another set of twenty-six drabbles that I'll probably never finish. This set doesn't have a specific pairing. It could be anything and everything.

I: Rocks

Pairing: ArchKim

"What in all of Amestris are you doing?" Archer asked as he quirked a brow. He had gotten used to Kimbley's quirks but this was just getting out of hand. The grown man was out in the yard digging holes, as if trying to locate something of importance.

Yellow eyes flicked up towards Archer as he cocked his head to one side. "Looking for something special." He replied with a grin. "It'll be worth it once I find it."

"What 'special' item could you possibly find in the dirt?" Archer asked with a roll of his blue eyes. Before Zolf could answer, he was heading back in the house.

Hours later, Kimbley came in covered in dirt and mud, a large smile on his face as he sauntered up to Archer who was reading. "Well? Did you find what you were looking for?" Archer asked skeptically.

"Yes, actually, I did." He said, holding out his hand, in which rested a small pebble laced with veins of gold. "You know, Frankie, when I penguin finds a mate he brings her a pebble to show his affections. And, as I've told you before, penguins mate for life." Archer took the rock and rolled his eyes.

"What a stupid concept. What can a pebble do for anyone?" He growled, pocketing the rock. "Wasting time looking for stones." He got up and walked into his bedroom, leaving a very dejected Kimbley behind. He put the gold-flecked pebble in his nightstand drawer, as he did with all the treasures Kimbley brought him.
