He'd need to make choices in Eevery second of his life. Each step, each thought, each blink; if each movement was not calculated;, if he, for incautiousness, was for the right instead of turn left,; could destroy all reality and time-space.

He felt the responsibility of civilizations, worldsplanets, of the entire universe in itshis back. It was not easy; sometimes he felt that it was a burden too great for only one Time lLord to carry. How many people that he ever knew had sacrificed yourthemselves because of the greater good.? He wanted to be sacrificed in placeinstead of them all., Bbut he couldn't. It wasn't the time yet.
