Hey! So I loved this episode! So much Spitfire! This is in response to Insecurity!

Disclaimer: I don't own

Wally set down the tracker on his souvenir shelf. His eyes skimmed over all his souvenirs and landed on Artemis' arrow. He smiled, remembering their first mission together. They had fought so much in the beginning, and about the stupidest things too. But Bialya changed everything. They fought less and worked together better. He remembered how she always was there to help him after wards. In the bayou and in the exercise. He cringed at the memory of her death.

"Dude, what happened? I'm gone for one mission, and everything falls apart." Wally whirled around to see his best friend, Dick.

"Dick! You almost gave me a heart attack! A little warning next time!" Dick laughed his pixie laugh.

"Okay, so what happened?" Wally took a deep breath and recapped the mission, but he omitted the part about his talk with Artemis in the bio ship. Robin listened politely. At the end He asked,

"So you got mad at her because she was afraid?" Wally looked down. He hadn't thought of it that way.

"Well, she didn't have to trick us like that! She could have at least let me help her! I trust her. She has nothing to prove not to me." Robin smirked. Wally had no idea how much the blonde archer meant to him.

"Dude, I heard about what you said to her when Roy walked in. No wonder she did what she did. Her mom begged for her to be on the team. I know for a fact she found that out. Roy always has put her down. When he joined she was probably afraid that she was going to get kicked off the team. How would you react if another speedster, who was your uncle's sidekick first and that always made you feel bad, joined the team?" Wally bowed his head in shame.

"Go talk to Artemis." Wally brightened up at that idea.

"I'll do it thanks, Rob." He sped off to find Artemis.

(Spitfire break line)

Artemis sat on her bed at the mountain. Wally's words flashed through her mind, again.

Then that makes you selfish. She recalled the disappointment in his eyes. Tears started to pool in hers.

I hate ROY! Next time I see him, I am going to kick his sorry ass! She heard a knock on her door.

"What?" She croaked.

"Artemis, it's me." Wally's voice drifted through the door. He probably came to yell at her.

"Go away!" She shouted back. He cracked her door, and a thin ray of light sliced through the darkness. He stepped in and closed it behind him. He sat next to her.

"What part about get out do you NOT UNDERSTAND?" She yelled at him. To his credit, he didn't flinch. He sighed and pushed his hand through his hair.

"Artemis, I'm sorry I said those things." She was stilled by shock.

"Wally? Apologize? The world is coming to an end." She mocked. He nudged her playfully.

"It's okay. I deserved it. I'm sorry. I should have never done those things," Artemis said softly. Wally looked at her and saw a small tear run down her face.

"Artemis, we all make mistakes. But next time, let me help you. Then, we can both irritate red Arrow." Artemis laughed, quick and fleeting. Wally brightened up at her laugh.

"I though he was your friend," Artemis said. Wally shrugged.

"He isn't the same. He's kind of a butt to be honest. I mean, putting you down all those times. Artemis your amazing. Don't let Roy or anyone tell you otherwise." Artemis smiled slightly and blushed.

"Thanks, Wally. By the way, that sounded okay out loud." Wally laughed.

"So about pranking Roy..."
