It was a dark and stormy day, the Nordics where around the fireplace drinking hot chocolate. Everyone but Denmark was there, which was strange because Denmark was always with his family. They had finally noticed the quiet room after a few minutes and Norway spoke up, "Where is Denmark?" They all looked around the room, confused because their brother wouldn't leave without telling them. Sweden had gotten up and went to Denmark's bedroom, the other Nordics followed him. Sweden slowly opened their brother's door to see nothing was there. "Where has he gone?!" they all asked at one, except Ice, who was terrified at the moment.
They had called for a family meeting to see why Denmark had left and took everything with him. "Maybe he was sick of us always pushing him out of our lives?..." Finland had said, slightly sad to see Denmark gone. "Impossible." Norway said, "He would never do that. would he?" They where all confused and they didn't know what to do. Sweden slowly rose from the kitchen table and walked over to the coat rack to get his coat. "I am going to look for him." He said quietly before leaving, turning the whole room silent.
"It was starting to get dark and Sweden has not come home yet." said Finland, he was starting to worry. Norway quickly added, "Well maybe..." he was quickly interrupted by the front door opening. Sweden had walked inside covered in snow. All the Nordics look at him in worry. "Well... did you find him." asked Ice. Sweden slowly shook his head, everybody else slowly went sad. Iceland had gotten up and ran to his room crying, Norway had quickly ran after him, going to comfort him. Finland had slowly gotten up and went to the couch and laid down. Sweden had sat down in a chair. They all knew that this was going to be a very long night.
