Hi everyone!

I'm so sorry I've been gone for so long, and most of you think I'm dead don't you? I'm sorry guys ;o; I just had a really busy high school year.

However, hopefully now that it's Summer, I'm planning to do whatever it takes to upload as much as possible, hopefully with absolutely little to no writer's block along the way!

Anyways, now let's continue with the story!

Oh, by the way: I do not own YuGiOh.

On one side side, donning the little one's hand is the rusty doorknob that needs a stern twist in order to actually move the dead-latch. On the other side is a curious and semi-scared-to-his-wits child, using his terror of whatever it is as a weapon on any unsuspecting adult to fall for his Eco-friendly green eyes, or his angel like hair framing his ever high cheekbones. He tries to twist the knob, but the rusted stem won't let him move it much longer before it just sounds like a high pitched squeak. The little angel boy shutters, looking back over his shoulder to see if a dark figure staring at him is the reason for his hair sticking up in fear and embarrassment.

He tries the handle again, this time giving the wooden door a slight push, and the hinges on the opposite side creak in protest.

Inside the room, the little boy tiptoes up to the person sleeping on the bed, frowning when he sees the human's back is facing him. He puts down his aqua-colored puppy stuffed animal on the floor, and climbs onto the bed. He uses his little arms to push himself up onto the bed frame and finally reach the mattress, staring down at the floor to see how tall he's climbed already. The silver-haired boy then turns back to the floor to reach for the puppies's soft cotton furred ears, but the boy's tiny little fingers fall short, and gravity nearly pushes the kid off the bed tumbling down onto the stuffed toy.

As the boy tips over, his arms splayed out ready for impact of the wooden tiles, the person sleeping in the bed gets up, and pulls back on the little one's night dress just in time. The green-eyed angel gets scared, but relaxes immediately once he turns to face his savior of sudden injury. He hugs the older boy by the torso.

"I'm so sorry for waking you up!"

His savior speaks. "Your falling would've woken me up too. You know you can't sneak up on the thief king."

The younger one lets the silence filter through their conversation, letting the king let go of him and rubbing the sleep out of his eyes, even if it's just for a few minutes.

"Why are you awake, Little Ryou?"

Ryou shuffles his legs together on the bed. "Well, I had a nightmare."

Still with a sleepy look in his eyes, the thief speaks. "Ah, you ran over here for help?"

"Yes, Akefia, I did." Ryou musters up all of the courage he can from his little heart, "M-may I sleep here for tonight? If that's okay!"

"It's fine, Ryou." The king smiles and brings the boy towards his bare chest. "Is this comfortable?"

Akefia never gets a reply back, because Ryou starts to slowly close his eyes, exhausted. He starts dozing off, leaning on the king's collar bone.

Akefia keeps a small smile to his face, sleep gleaming from his gold eyes.

I hope you all enjoyed the little one shot I wrote! I'm sorry it's not a lot, it should have been since I've been gone for a whole year or so. I'm sorry about that. Anyways, thanks for reading! Please favor and review, that would be very kind! Plus, it would remind me that there are people who enjoy my work, and that'll make me work more into having my stories written on time.

Thanks!
