Hey guys! This is my third submission to fan fiction, (not the internet) and I hope you like it! The others are Percy Jackson and the Olympians, and Maximum Ride, and I hope to make more ATLA ones, along with those others. And kind of a songfic, I got inspired by Taylor Swift's 'Never Grow Up'

It was quiet that night, in the Avatar's palace. The last of the finest doctors and healers in the Fire Nation had left, leaving Katara to breathe. Aang had been stressed out all day, but now it was all worth it. He looked at the little bundle of joy in his arms. His girl. His daughter. Moon. That's what they named her. She was white skinned as the moon, and as Aang, and Katara loved the moon, and since she had those waterbender blue eyes that would light up at night, that's what they named her.

Aang looked at his sleeping wife out of the corner of his eyes, then back at his newborn daughter.

"You took a lot out of us, you know." He told her, taking in her perfection.

Her little hand wrapped around his finger, and she cooed at him, her big blue eyes looking at him. Aang smiled.

"I promise that I won't let anybody hurt you...No matter what. Your the avatar and waterbender's daughter, so you should be treated like a princess. My princess."

She grinned a big, toothless grin, not really knowing what I'm saying, but finding it funny anyway.

He smiled, taking her perfection in.

She cooed again, her eyes twinkling, and a splash of water hitting Aang in the back of his bald

head, right on his arrow. His eyes widened for a second, then narrowed at his daughter, him chuckling.

"Never grow up, honey." He whispered to her.

He twirled a finger into the short brown waves she called hair, and then kissed her on the forehead, as she yawned and fell asleep.

"Your such a good father." Katara said, waking up.

Aang leaned over and pecked her on the forehead.

"And your a perfect mother." He replied, putting his daughter in her arms, and laying with her.

Katara held her baby girl, and Aang wrapped his arm around her, smiling at his girls, who cuddled lovingly into him.

He smiled, his life ahead looking great.

D: THAT'S IT?

I know, I know. It's short as hell, but whatever, it's a short one short. I THINK it's more then a thousand words...someone needs to count for me, and tell me in a review. Please REVIEW. Or no cookies and Iroh tea!

Hope you liked,

lots and lots of love and smiles

-Mady.
