Will was sitting on a barrel in the pirate town of Tortuga. Sixteen years of age now with dark brown eyes and long brown hair tied back. It was raining hard. He watched as people ran for the cover of buildings. He was waiting for someone. A girl came carrying something. It looked like food. She uncovered it. It was a loaf of bread. She had gotten what the baker had thrown out for the day.

Will smiled at her and she gave him half of the loaf. She walked a lot like a certain pirate. Her name was Isabella Jane. She had flowing brown hair and brown eyes. She was seventeen years old. The two of them walked into a bar. The Faithful Bride Tavern, and it was very crowded due to the storm outside. Isabella and Will eventually found a place to sit. They ate their bread and stayed inside to stay dry even though the ceiling leaked almost everywhere. They talked to each other for a few minutes until a loud crash of thunder frightened them. A loud bang on the door scared them even more. They looked over at the door to see the notorious pirate, Captain Jack Sparrow standing in the middle of the poorly built frame with lightning illuminating everything behind him. He looked very terrifying. And wet.

"I think we've got ourselves a small hurricane out there!", Jack yelled. He examined his clothes and shook like a dog. His dreadlocks flung water everywhere. He stooped shaking and caught Will's eye. He looked fascinated and then began to walk over to him. Will tried to turn around so that Jack wouldn't see him, but he was unsuccessful. Will knew who Jack Sparrow was. He was a pirate that had been an acquaintance to his parents. They had gone off on adventures together. Will turned to face Jack and they just looked at each other for a few seconds. Jack crossed his arms and gave a half- smile. "What's your name boy?" Will looked around him and realized Jack meant him. He sighed and said,

"Will Turner the third." Jack smiled fully and nodded. His stare drifted to Isabella.

"And you are?" he asked her.

"My name is Isabella. That's all I'm telling you." She sighed "For now."Jack furrowed his brow.

"So. Why did you come here?", Isabella asked.

"Well, I'll be honest. I came because I need my ship to travel to the-"he took a deep breath. "The fountain of youth." Will and Isabella exchanged sly smiles. Jack rolled his eyes. "So can you help me find my ship?" Isabella was deep in thought and said,

"Yes. Oh. But, you'll have to take us with you." Will looked cross with her. "What?!" He shouted "He▓s a pirate!" Isabella looked at him like he was an idiot. "And your father's not?"She had him. "Yes. So we're coming with him." Will rolled his eyes.

"Alright! But I still don't trust him." Isabella smiled, obviously happy with herself. Jack was looking out the door at the storm.

"Trust is a very hard thing to come by these days. Especially here. This place holds memories." He looked back at Will "Some of those memories about your father." He smiled "And your mother." Isabella looked down at the last word, for Tortuga meant something dear to her too. It was where her mother had been killed by the East India Trading Company nine years before. She looked back up and asked,

"So we can come with you?" Jack contemplated the question. "Yes.", he said "For now." He smiled and sat down with them until the storm cleared up.
