I wrote this on July 31, 2010, but never got it published until now!

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday, dear-" there was a chorus of "Harry", "Uncle Harry", and "Daddy", and then, "Happy birthday to you!"

There was loud cheering as Molly Weasley cut the cake and started serving everyone.

Everyone had come to celebrate Harry Potter's thirtieth birthday. Even Charlie, who was entertaining his nieces and nephews with dragon stories, had come.

Harry was currently talking to Neville about his position of teaching Herbology.

"I have no regrets for being an Auror for almost eleven years," Neville was saying, "but teaching is so much better for me."

Harry was about to comment when Ginny appeared, holding Al's hand and Lily on her hip. James followed behind.

"Chose your pick," Ginny said, grinning. "One, two, or three."

"Two."

"Here you go then." She kissed him before handing him Lily, guiding Albus over to him, and pulled James over.

"Happy birfday, Daddy," Lily said.

"Thank you, Lily."

Conversation broke out again, louder than ever in the Potter house.

Until...

"Who wants to hear a story?"

This was Arthur, trying to calm down his many grandchildren and their friends down. There were many exclamations of "Me!".

"Gather 'round then."

James and Albus ran over; Harry carried Lily and sat her on a blanket that had been laid out. Fred came running over as well, Louis, Molly, and Lucy on his tail. Hermione led Rose over, and laid Hugo next to Lily. Angelina did the same with Roxanne.

Neville brought over Matt and Frank, while Hannah followed Alice over. Finally Teddy came marching down the stairs with an annoyed expression; Victoire and Dominique were following him.

All the adults crowded as well. Molly, Bill and Fleur, Charlie, Percy and Audrey, George and Angelina, Ron and Hermione; Ginny joined Harry, whom was sitting on the couch. Kingsley, Neville and Hannah, Rolf and Luna (who was expecting twins), Hagrid, and Andromeda.

"What story shall we hear?" Arthur asked.

"The dragon and Uncle Harry one!" Louis cried out.

"Ahh. Okay." And Arthur launched into the story of Harry and his old Firebolt, flying back and forth, luring the Hungarian Horntail, before diving and retrieving the egg.

At the end, the adults were all reminiscing, while the children were loudly cheering.

"Daddy! Daddy!" James cried later that night when everyone had left. "Be a dragon."

Harry, who had just put Lily down for bed, looked at his son. He smiled, pretended to roar, and chased his son. Ginny, who had just put Al down, came into the hall and said, "Alright, Dragon Boy, time for bed."

Harry, while James was distracted, yanked him up into his arms and walked him into James's bedroom and tucked him in.

"Goodnight, Jamie."

"Good-ight, D-D-Daddy," James yawned.

Harry then proceeded into his and Ginny's room. She was laying on their bed. He walked over and laid down, pulling her into his arms. He kissed her gently.

"Mmm," Ginny whispered. "Happy birthday, Harry."

"Thanks, Love."

They fell silent in blissful love.
