This is Me

It had been two weeks since Elsa returned summer to Arendelle. It was hard to believe that in such a short time life could change so dramatically for the sisters. As happy as she was with all the changes, Anna was still getting used to having Elsa back in her life. She was thrilled to see her beloved sister again, but there was still so much she was learning about her. Her magical powers were obviously the biggest aspect about her, but there was so much more to her as well. Anna was learning things about her sister, that she never would have imagined. She learned about Elsa's interests, favorite foods, books, and even little secrets about her such as the fact that she was very good at playing the piano, even though it had been years since she touched one. These things were like a wave of revelations crashing down upon Anna, but she didn't mind. In fact, it enthralled her to learn so much about the sister whose company she craved for many years. Every day with Elsa was an adventure, no matter how big or small it was.

One afternoon, as Anna and Elsa were in the parlor, talking about their plans for the weekend, Anna once again found herself in awe of her sister.

Anna looked over Elsa with astonishment. Even though it had been some time since the kingdom was unfrozen, the sight of Elsa being so close to her was still so exciting. She looked amazing. Her long blonde hair, braided neatly together, coupled with one of her beautiful blue ice dresses created especially for her. The way her deep blue eyes shone in the sunlight like diamonds, it was all such a fascinating sight. As Elsa continued to tell Anna about the latest book she was reading, she noticed that her younger sister seemed distracted.

"Anna, did you hear what I said?" she asked.

"Huh? What?"

Elsa laughed. "I take that as a no."

"I'm sorry, I'm just taken aback by it all," Anna confessed.

"What do you mean?"

"Well, these past few weeks have been amazing. Really, I don't think I've ever been this happy."

Elsa smiled. "I'm glad to hear that, Anna. You deserve all the happiness in the world, especially after all you've been through."

"I think the reason why it's been so wonderful, is because you're now a part of my life again. It's been so much fun getting to know you. You know, the real you."

Elsa blushed. "Well, I'm sorry it's not what you expected."

"Oh, no, Elsa, it's great! You're great! I mean, the things about you…your powers, your personality, everything is just so unbelievably neat! This is the real you."

"Yeah, this is me," Elsa admitted. "I've tried denying myself the truth for so long, but I just couldn't keep it buried anymore. I decided to finally stop keeping it all concealed within, and be who I really am. I just regret all the trouble I caused in the process."

"Hey, it's water under the bridge. You've fixed it, and everything is better than it was before!" Anna encouraged.

"Yeah, I guess it is," Elsa agreed. "And I have you to thank for that, Anna."

"Hey, what are sisters for?" Anna said.

"Very true."

"Hey, do you want to build a snowman?" Anna asked.

Elsa laughed. Even years later Anna still had that adorable idea of building a snowman with her.

"How old are you, Anna? Aren't you a little old to be building snowmen?" Elsa joked.

"Who, me? Nah! You're never too old to build a snowman, especially with your big sister!" Anna replied.

Elsa laughed even harder. "I guess you're right. Come on, let's go!"

"Yay! Another day of fun with my favorite sister!" Anna exclaimed.

"Anna, I'm your only sister," Elsa reminded her.

"I know, but you're still my favorite," Anna explained.

"Oh, Anna,"

A/N: It's short, but a sweet oneshot for you all.
