Suddenly Disappearing

"But Dad," said Maria, "why do we have to move California…Texas is a good place nice homes, nice neighbors, good schools, and all of my friends are here!

"I'm sorry Maria but we already bought the house and we already bought the U-HUAL truck." Dad said.

"Ok, whatever you might as well kill me now." she answered.

"Get in the car now!" her dad said angrily.

They finally arrived at their new house. As soon as they stopped Maria's twin brother, Justin jumped out of the car and ran back and came back and said "There is a flipping pool back here!"

"Dad, how come you didn't tell me we had a pool?" Justin asked.

"Oh, didn't I tell you we have a pool and a two-story house?" he said.

"Omg, are you for real come on Justin lets go check this place out!" Maria said excitedly.

As they were looking around Maria thought to her self

"Man I should of stayed with a friend instead of coming all the way to this freakin place ugh."

When they returned to their parent's they were unloading the bags from the truck and Maria and Justin both decided to help.

"It's 9 already, Maria Justin you both need to go to bed you both have to go to school tomorrow." Mom said

"Ugh, really?" they both said.

"Yes really now go to bed." she answered.

Maria was sorta excited to be going to a new school but she doesn't know what is waiting for her….

Next Day

"Guys it's time to wake up!" Mom said.

"Do we have to?" Maria asked.

"Yes you do so get dressed so we can take you to the office at Sacramento Middle School." Dad said.

They got dressed and went downstairs to get their backpacks and clothes for gym. Justin was all tires and dragging his bag to the car while Maria joyfully walked to the car. The car ride was really quiet.

When they got to the parking lot Maria saw a guy walking in. She thought he had the most amazing bright blue eyes and the shaggiest brown hair she has ever seen. He turned around and smiled at her. "He has the most perfect smile!" she whispered to herself.

"Wow Maria he is totally way out your league so if I were you I wouldn't want to look stupid in front of him." said Justin.

"Shut up your dumb I never even said that I liked him stupid!" she answered.

"Well by the way you were looking at him it seemed like it."

" Haha very funny. Lets go to the office so we get our schedules." she insisted.

"Ok whatever." he said.

When Maria got the office she saw the principal and something very unusual. Her eyes were dark red and she had what looked like blood on her cheek.

"Hello, my name is Ms. Scarlett. I am the principal of this school. Here are your schedules and I hope you enjoy this school. To me its very soothing and I love it here. I hope you enjoy your first day of school." Ms. Scarlett said.

When she blinked her eyes turned to green beautiful eyes. Justin and Maria both were thinking the same thing because they both gave a each other a weird look.

When Justin got to his class it was very cold and plain.

"Um, hi." he said.

'Who are you and why are you interrupting my class?" Mrs. Tanner growled.

"Uh, my name is Justin and I am new here." he answered.

"Ok well next time please knock before you walk in my class." she snapped.

"Yeah, I'm sorry." he said.

"It's fine just take a seat somewhere please." she said.

"Yeah thanks." while he took a seat and Mrs. Tanner resumed to what she was talking about.

As Maria entered her room it felt warm and cozy. She saw the familiar bright blue eyes and shaggy dark brown hair.

"Hi, you must be Maria my name is Declan." he said

"Hi Declan, I'm surprised you know my name." she answered.

He nodded then said, "Well welcome to Sacramento."

The bell rang and they had to take their seats and she was left standing. The teacher quickly assigned her a seat. She didn't take her eyes off Declan the whole class.
