"What's wrong, Naruto?" Iruka-sensei asks the boy next to him. They're both sitting in a ramen stand, with a bowl of noodles in front of each of them. "You haven't even taken a bite out of your favourite food yet. I am surprised."
Naruto emits a sigh before grumbling, "Both my teammates don't want to train with me... and neither does Kakashi-sensei."
"Are you sure about that?" Iruka asks, concerned.
"Yeah! Kakashi-sensei even says that I'm already [Level 12] so I should be able to figure things out on my own!" Naruto whines. "Sasuke is [Level 12] too but he's way ahead of me!"
"Well... you have to admit that self-learning is good advice..."
"I don't like that though! I don't even know where to go! I feel like I'm behind everyone else. The [Tutorial] didn't even teach me much! I don't feel ready... Hey Iruka-sensei! You're [Level 24], do you think you can help me?"
Iruka-sensei scratches his forehead. "Well, Naruto.. Although I am [Level 24], your sensei Kakashi is [Level 26]. He has completed more [Combat] quests while I mostly focused on [Teaching] quests. He and I also have very different ranks. His rank is [Jounin] while mine is only [Chunnin]. Our professions are different too. His is [Genin Squad Instructor] while mine is simply [Academy Instructor]. He would be able to help you out better than I ever could, Naruto."
"Well, he doesn't want to help me!" Naruto crosses his arms and pouts. "Can't you help me out a bit, Iruka-sensei!? Please!? Your level is a lot higher than mine! I'm sure there are lots of things you could teach me!"
"I'll see what I can do." Iruka gives in, "I might have some extra items [Basic Scrolls] that I can lend to you."
"Thanks Iruka-sensei! I knew I could count on you!" Naruto smiles brightly.
"Come see me again tomorrow, Naruto. I'll have the items ready for you by then."
"Thanks!" Naruto says again excitedly before finally focusing on eating the ramen in front of him.
Iruka-sensei just chuckles.
