"Welcome to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, a magical place for kids and grown-ups alike, where fantasy and fun come to life."

The animatronic rabbit rolled his eyes, "fantasy and fun my ass," Bonnie muttered under his breath. He was sick of that tape, six times in one month they had been forced to listen to the calls, over and over again. Reminding the rabbit that there was yet another night guard that they needed to take care of.

"Bonnie watch your language, please."

Bonnie tilted his head to the right, eyeing the bear animatronic with dull amusement. "Lighten up smokey, it's not like there's any kids around to hear."

Freddy glared at him, his blue eyes narrowed into slits, "are you still on strike?" The bear asked, his arms crossed and face set in an unamused expression.

Bonnie laughed dryly, "you ain't changing my mind on this decision Fazbear."

The night guard had said that Bonnie had been his favorite as a kid, shouting out the door to the purple bunny on his first night on the job. Bonnie just couldn't understand it, the guard did realize that they were trying to kill and stuff him in a suit right? The poor thing, only a teenager who had his whole life ahead of him.

The animatronics had cheated, the teen had been on his seventh night. They had no choice...fuck that, they all had a choice, but they were all too terrified of the Puppet's reaction if they had let another guard get away. And no one had ever dared to stand up to him, it had given them life and it could just as easily take it away. They had learned this when it had made an example out of Golden Freddy, and she had never been the same since.

The rabbit was the one to cut the power off, and the guard didn't even stand a chance. Not against Freddy. He had died only twenty minutes before six am, damn if only the kid would've ran perhaps then he would have had some slim hope of escaping this place. At least he had died quickly, Freddy had made sure of that. Bonnie had taken a glance at the guard's name tag, Dakota.

After that Bonnie had realized that he just couldn't continue the game anymore, not another human would die by his hands. Not if he had anything to say about it. Though he could tell that Freddy was less than pleased, but so what if the bear was pissed at him?

Freddy was the leader of the gang, and Bonnie was just a shadow compared to him and the others. Heck Chica had a more profound role than he did being the backup singer, and Foxy had his own show going on at Pirates Cove. The rabbit was simply the guitarist, not nearly as popular as the others...and not nearly as loved by the children.

Bonnie used to look up to the bear, but of course once you see behind the mask and discover who they actually are, then your opinion might change. At first Bonnie had seen Freddy's harsh attitude towards the others as over-protectiveness, just trying to protect and lead them, a big brother role of sorts. Though the bear had changed over time, perhaps it was the stress and memories that made him into the cold hearted animatronic that stood in front of him now. The old Fazbear would have trembled at the sight of a dead guard murdered by his paw, but the new one barely gave a second glance.

The others Foxy, Chica, and Golden Freddy all followed his lead with no hesitation, perhaps that was why the bear looked down on him in the first place. Bonnie was the one who would always question his motives, always the one to confront the bear and take the other side.

How Bonnie wished that he could've been the leader, things would've been so different. The rabbit wanted so much to stand up to the Puppet, but with the others following Freddy's lead and with the bear himself under that Puppets influence Bonnie was outnumbered. He couldn't do anything, he was powerless.

"Bonnie I know how it feels, but you just have to look past the pain. One of those night guards is the murderer and one day we'll find him, the one who murdered us. It doesn't matter how many we kill Bon, no human is innocent. I'm sorry...you might not think so, but I still regret everything that I have done. We can't stop Bon, if we do the cycle will repeat itself. More children will die. And I promised myself that I wouldn't let that happen ever again, no one will stand in my way." Freddy glanced sadly at the rabbit, letting the threat hang loosely in the air.

The rabbit shared the same look towards his old friend, "Freddy I'm done, enough is enough. You and the others can do what you want."

Freddy shook his head, a glint of desperation flared in his eyes, "Bonnie please you can't stop, the Puppet won't allow this. Bon you're my friend, and I've lost enough of them already."

Bonnie realized that he was referring to the toys...those poor souls. The rabbit didn't back down, it didn't matter anymore. His eyes softened towards the bear, watching the despair creep across his face once he realized that there was no use, he had made his choice.

The bear gave one final smile towards him, his posture changing into one of deactivation, "I'll miss you Bon, sorry for being such an asshole to you all these years," Freddy whispered before going silent.

"Bye Freddy Fazfuck," the rabbit lightly chuckled he just couldn't help himself. He looked over Freddy one last time, his eyes then looking past him to Chica. She hadn't even activated tonight, perhaps she had an idea of what was going to happen? She had always been the smart one, he was going to miss her. Miss them. With a sigh Bonnie let himself deactivate, it would be better this way. At least he hoped.

Bonnie stood in the middle of the stage, the crowd was cheering. Kids screamed his name, he felt loved. Chica and Freddy stood at either side of him, carefree and happy. Just like the good old days. He could see Foxy in the crowd, waving his hook around in excitement as people around him ducked to escape the sharp end of it.

Golden Freddy was leaning against a wall nearby, not the same yellow bear that was so afraid of everything. Her eyes held color, instead of black holes were two light blue eyes full of life and mischief. And from a darkened corner of the room he saw a shadow of a slender form, now it was the one that was afraid, not them.

With a wide grin Bonnie nodded his head to the gang signaling that the show was going to begin. With a slash of his paw the rabbit started up the verse, his hands flying across and stroking the strings of his guitar. From the corner of his eye he saw the night guard Dakota giving him a thumbs up, with no further waiting the boy started the song.

The ferris wheel goes round and round

Every day it's the same old sound

Children come to watch us play

In a carnival of broken innocence

~x

When night falls we all roam free

A scene from your darkest fantasies

I've been so lonely in this place, will you let me in?

...Please I only want a friend!

The lies he tells, the lies he tells

The lies he tells, the lies he tells

Within the truth that keeps us bound

To our withered lives in robotic shells

~x

Children run, children play

Another day, another night

Never found, lost inside

Living robots, circuits fried

~x

Never sleeps, always weeps

It regrets, wanting peace

Loving pain, loving hate

Little puppets, controlled by strings

I no longer want to be his toy

I'm still a child deep inside

What will I become if I lose my humanity?

Ghosts trapped by a child's curiosity and a puppet's pride!

"One more thing, don't forget the music box. I'll be honest, I never liked that puppet thing...It was always...Thinking. Kinda like a real person, but that painted smile it just seems so...cold...fake? Anyways check the cameras and vents, remember to wind the music box. There's a pattern...no a rhythm. Just get into the flow and you'll be fine, I promise!"

The song ended and Bonnie raised his head to meet the frenzied crowd below, but something wasn't right. Everything seemed to be falling apart, the crowd, his friends, were starting to fade away. Darkness consumed them until there were only two beings left, a bunny and a certain night guard.

~x

Bonnie blinked frantically trying to rationalize what was going on, Dakota stepped closer and put a hand on his shoulder. The rabbit looked down, wait...he was supposed to be dead.

~x

"Don't stop being awesome Bonnie, and please remember...what might sound like the end might just be the beginning. Eh, take it from another ghost, don't be afraid Bon, me and a few of your past friends will be waiting for you. And it seems as if you have an admirer Toy Bonnie sends her love..."

Bonnie woke up, what the fuck was that? A dream...wait robots can have dreams? Hmm that was knew. The rabbit stiffened his eyes meeting the Puppet's black soulless ones.

"So I finally have the pleasure of taking care of you, we are going to have so much fun together my little one. I always knew this day would come." It whispered in a light feathery voice.

Bonnie smiled back at the Puppet his smile matching its own, "me to Mari," he purred. At least he still had his sense of humor, even when his time had run out.

This fic was requested by otakuubearr who wanted a story based off of Bonnie's perspective towards Freddy Fazbear. Well I've added some stuff to it of course and I hope that you all like this short story! It sure turned out way longer than what I had originally planned. Don't forget to leave a review as I love the feedback;)
